Submitted by Elvis Presley a from Auckland
Date Reviewed: February 8, 2001
Favorite Trail:Oropi - Tauranga
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $3500.00
Purchased At:underground cycles
Strengths:Solid, decent ground clearence from bottom bracket. Stable at speed.
Weaknesses:Paint sctatches too f***ing easily!
Little sketchy on technical dh.
Bike Setup:Hayes hydraulic disk, lx/xt, RST alfalfa fork, Fox vanilla RC shock, Mavic 321 rims
Bottom Line:Bike is pretty good value for money. Reasonably light, stable on non technical descent and jumping. The bike does take drops well, will swap out the forks when they wear out and upgrade cranks. Wouldn't reccommend the bike for serious DH racers but is good entry level alternative for the money. Last of all it looks good too :)
