Strengths: Very light and climbs better than me! I had never had carbon before, and now I now what I have been missing. it is so comfortable.Weaknesses: price - Primera did me a good deal, but still cost a lot of money.Bottom Line: Sometimes I guess when the guy in the shop tells you how good a bike is we should take note. I shopped around for ages but could not find what I wanted for my money, in the end I got conputerized fitted and I am very pleased with the end result. Now I have got over the shock of buying a bike which is far to good for my fitness, I love it. After a long ride I feel far less battered than my old Cannondale.

Strengths: weight (lighter than a similarly equipped but smaller C40!), stiffness, shock absorbancy, handling, looks etc etc.
this light bike climbs with stiffness, is controlled and neutral in the descents and is untroubled regardless of the power being applied. It accelerates well and is comfortable enough for a good couple of hours concentrated effort.
I am tall (6'4") and heavy (13.5st) and this bike fits and is behaving impeccably.Weaknesses: problems/shortcomings:
1) rear mech hanger fixes with only one screw. appears flimsy and moves A LOT when rear wheel is out. I fear that in the long run, the movement of the hanger and fragility of the screw will allow either the hanger to wear both itself and the dropout or the hanger to be pulled off too easily.
2) hole for bottom bracket cable guide drilled in wrong place so the front gear cable is in contact with the bottom bracket. This forced replacement (with a non Principia guide) to prevent the cable from sawing thru the bracket.
3) headset bearings collapsed after 5 months. replacement set required.
4) VERY little clearance between my heels (size 12 feet (UK)/175 mm cranks) and chainstays. taping of stays required to prevent damage.
Bottom Line: everywhere "replacement" mentioned in weaknesses, the work was carried out free by Primera with no hassle. thanks to them for that and for the great service otherwise.
frame: excellent bike for performance, looks etc as described above. For the price, this frame is hard to beat when considered against just about any criteria. It's a shame the finishing touches have let it down when it would otherwise have justified a 5.
gruppo and equipment: faultless as you'd expect from "S" and the other suppliers involved

Strengths: Very low weight and nevertheless extremely stiff, great for
hills and sprinting, but not for touring (i.e.100miles+), neutral steeringWeaknesses: aluminium, therefore not as elastic as steel or carbon,
maybe expensive in the us (its made in denmark)Bottom Line: The new modell is the Rex Pro, currently used by several
pro teams and many of the riders say it's the best bike
they've ever riden (they should know), also came out as the best frame ever in numerous tests in german & british bike mags. I think the frame is similiar to the klein pro or caad4, but imho (;-)) a bit better..the surface is anodised, looks very good and is quite resistant to scratches. The Rex Pro frame is the Rex frame optimised for even less weight and ergo even more sensitive to damage (crashes..) and expensive, so unless you're a top rider you really
don't need it. The weight for the whole bike (like above) is 6.9 kg (Rex Pro) and about 7.2 kg (Rex).
