Strengths: Smoooooooooooth... allows you to climb past all the hardtail boys in the saddle. Sprints like a demonWeaknesses: a touch heavy but careful parts selection fixes thatBottom Line: The absolute bomb for racing. People can say whatever they want about URT, but I am a believer. This bike hooks up over everything. I can accelerate over rooty climbs that I would have walked on my Hardtail. It's a little beefy at 24.5 pounds, but its all unsprung weight so it doesn't mean Jack. Some courses I would still prefer a hardtail, but for most conditions this thing can't be beat. TRY SOMETHING NEW!!! Don't look to the status quo right away when you are looking for a bike... Its way better to be riding something that everyone else isn't.
Favorite Trail: Sunpeaks XC track
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
Purchased At: Caps in Abbotsford
Similar Products Used: no fs, but a 22 pound Rocky Mountain and a old GT. Both were crap, one for being the status quo (where I live) and the other for being crap
Bike Setup: 97 Szasbo, 98 Manitou SX carbon/ti's, XTR all around except for the front derailure and shifters, Fiber flight/517/XTR wheels, thompson stem and post, time pedals, the list goes on
