Manitou SX-R. | | Bottom Line: | This is a discontinued frame. Aermet is a material developed for manufacture of jet fighter landing gear. It is the strongest metal going, bar none. Aermet is much stronger than steel, aluminum, carbon fiber or titanium. Yet it is resilient like titanium, corrosion proof and as light as Ti. Translation -- this frame has excellent weight characteristics, a supple ride, is very light, and is virtually indestructible. It is a frame for a lifetime. | | Overall Rating: |
