SID rear, Raceface cranks and headset | | Bottom Line: | Went to LBS to get a Heckler frame and left with this beauty. Frame weighs 4.89 lbs--hand made in Quebec with excellent craftmanship-especially the rear triangle. Much quicker handling than a Fisher/much lighter than GT I Drive- and a great deal. Downhills are a gas and although there is some bob when you pound it--hit the lock out on the SID and problem is solved. The pivot is bombproof and located ahead of the pedals.I cant beleive I waited this long to dump the hardtail. This bike is much quicker on rough sections and just as fast on the flats as a hardtail. And my body thanks me. Comes in SID blue and yellow--it is an attention getter, and for now, has that exclusivety. | Overall Rating: |
