bought the frame for 30 quid off ebay and built the bike around it and what a surprise, with the 130mm forks on it it leaps forward and begs to be thrashed, very light and a joy to throw around on the trail, inspiring confidence and idiotic behaviour, because of its small size it is easy to move around on the bike and get comfortable no matter what you're doing, i'm 5'6^ and when really pushing up hills my knees only just miss the shifters but longer stem would sort this out. had a couple of big hits and nothing has broken or fallen of as yet so i'm happy,
you can buy the frame for 80 quid brand new off ebay and build a quality jump/hardcore xc bike for under 500 quid in fact i would have if the wheels hadn't cost 200 quid!!! in fact the only thing i'd swap it for is an orange msisle!
Bike Setup: ddg shooter frame, manitou splice elite forks 130mm, fsa pig dh pro h/s, deore front mech and shifters, lx rear mech, deore crank with 22/32 rings and truvativ bash ring, sram 990 cassette and chain, dmr dv rims on sun ringle' hubs, hayes hfx9 brakes 203 front/160 rear. outland jump bars/stem/seat
Weaknesses: Black Jack,Hardrock,Handsome dog Rockhound
Bottom Line:
Its a shooter and its cheap and strong, Great bike for Sreet,Jump,Trials,Light DH,but it depends on what shooter frame you buy,i have had about 12 shooter's yes 12 shooter's and 8 of them were different,i had a carbon fibre shooter once too which i cloked 83mph,it was a crazy shooter could handle anything, I reccomend DDG to anyone!!!!!

Strengths: I think that the products strenghths are that the frame is really strong and i have the combat isshue which i think looks really nice and for the price i would recomend it 2 any new jump or street riders starting up or even been riding for a long time and want a new frame but with a low budgett for the money i think this is the best frame
Weaknesses: the weekness has to be the front end where the forks go in i had a crash and that got a bit mashed on mine but nothing 2 bad because it still works and it is all good
Bottom Line:
The bottom line is that this is a great frame and i recomend it 2 anyone who needs a cheap stong frame to thrash around at there local street or dirt jump spot or even 2 race dual or 4x for any of those things i think it is a great frame and think that if u have a small budett then i highly recomend this frame.
Bike Setup: i have got the Shooter frame on some mag's hs33's and a tioga bmx seat with 24/7 super fat cranks with a royal racing chainring and dmr v12 magniesum's and on an set of DDG tango rims with a halfords 2.1 tyre on the back and a tioga 2.1 on the front.

Weaknesses: none really tyre clearance mainly.
Bottom Line:
I love this bike! outstanding value! I checked on the internet and my local bike shops for a full setup and they were in the region of £1000 pounds this was way over my budget! then i saw this shooter. Just to think you can but a full bike with maguras for £399.99. sweet!

Strengths: Very light frame at a good price. Great trials frame and doubles as a good dirt jumping frame. Comes in a range of colours
Weaknesses: Paint job
Bottom Line:
Great beginers bike at a budget price. Improves yor riding skills weather you into trials or dirt jumping. The frame is very light. You couldn't buy a better frame for the money and comes with good components if you buy it ready built.

Strengths: Nice and strong, fun too jump with, not too heavy when compared too its rivals. Seriously well priced considering what you get for your money, and comes in loads of cool colour schemes.
Weaknesses: Needs bigger tyre clearence!, paint chips, and rubs off from the cables after not a very long time, top tube quite short for taller riders, and pretty much all stuff that the aforementioned have said.
Bottom Line:
Rippin value for a starter jump bike, but not good enough for an expert. Aimed at begginner/intermediate rider.
Similar Products Used: DMR trailstar, planet-x jackflash, Cove stiffy
Bike Setup: avid cps-1 discs(F&R), z1 cr fork, 24/7 superfats, on-one reetard bar and stem combo, 48 spoke halos with xt disc hubs, tioga dh saddle, ddg seatpost (came with it), continental tyres, dmr speedguide, xt groupset, etc.

Strengths: very light for jump frame... quite cheap
Weaknesses: too weak to be a long lasting frame, my headtube is on the way out allready... the geometry is neither trials nor jump, it is trying to be both and fails at each really....its best as a trials setup though
Bottom Line:
dont buy the frame...if you want a full setup at a cheap price get it but dont expect it to last more than a year....
Bike Setup: LX Rear Mech & Hubs, STX RC shifters. Sun Rims, DX V-Brakes, azonic bar and stem. RST Hi 5 forks.

Strengths: excellent price, tuff as hell, short rear end, light, stiff, rules in the air.
Weaknesses: steerer tube too slack for fork over 100mm, top tube too short for rider 6ft+ nothing major for a short dirt jumper like me, only problem is that because of far east welding stuff like tyre clearance varies with every frame but my mate can fit a 2.25 kujo in so its not all bad
Bottom Line:
Quality dirt frame, the only way your ever gonna break it is if your really really crap trying really really big stuff. The value more than makes up for any short comings

Bottom Line:
its a good frame for beginners who do trials starting not strong enough to do jump with really and more tyre clearance needs to be improved and the steering not all that good with long travel forks

Strengths: cheap! front end stiff. cheap!! it doesn't cost much. nearly exactly the same as Heavy Tools (£300) and Identity (£250) Same frame different paint! its light.
Weaknesses: paint chips but who cares? very little tyre clearence tioga 2.1 rubs on frame. head angle is a bit relaxed. stearing is slow with longish forks.
Bottom Line:
good if your on a budget. but tyre clearence bugs me! Great first jump/trials frame.
Strengths: The DDG shooter is a trails Frame but is not Trial specific but still it is a great fun all rounder and comes in many pretty coulours Nice Respectable Price as well.
Weaknesses: The frame wont take jumps over 14 ft!
Bottom Line:
The Best frame for a New comer to Trials bikes and a great starting bike for Trickesters. Impressive price and Performance This frame is a LEGEND!

Strengths: Strong and stiff, and cheap to boot, comes in loads of different colours, discmounts, good size for trials and jumping. Rides like a big BMX when i use single speed
Weaknesses: paint chips easy, but then agaain what doesn't, not much else wrong.
Bottom Line:
Got this bike just for dirt jumpimg and it has improved my riding to no end the doubles are getting bigger and bigger. the small size suits the jumps very well and i'm 6 foot. Very strong and stiff and with the 24seven cranks the back end has a lot of feel to it, might well change something up front as the set up dont quite feel right. Bottom line is dont pay top dolla for a more expensive frame that ant gonna do much that this dont, it's good, try it! 4 Chilis cos nothings ever perfect.
