Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $200.00
Purchased At:CRC
Strengths:Price is good for the new or young rider.
Weaknesses:I took this bike to BC and within 2 days the torque from using a 203mm rear rotor along with the hard north shore terrain caused the rear rotor mount to ripp off when braking hard...the bike is now useless, also the build quallity sucks if you look closely when your rear wheel is set as far into the dropouts as possible the frame is not square causing it to be off centre for tyre clearance........not good
Bike Setup:Halo, travativ, pikes, wtb etc
Bottom Line:you get what you pay for, did me fine for a year learning on a hard tail but not built for the hard stuff.......

Favorite Trail:All of Wales
Duration Product Used:3 months
Purchased At:ebay for £100 with race face BB & Pig Pro headset.
Strengths:Very strong box stays, feels really solid on big landings. Well balanced confident frame.
Weaknesses:Head angle is suited to 4"+ forks. Top mounted cables can hurt, no IS chain device mounts.
Similar Products Used:DMR's, 24 7 Darkangle, Zaskar, cannondale other jumpy bikes.
Bike Setup:Hope mini's, raceface cranks/BB, DJ3 '04, hope hubs rhino lyite rims, etc
Bottom Line:I own the 15" frame and this doesn't have the problems describe by others with catching your foot on x-ups. Im a taller rider and the larger frame works really well with me, it's well balanced for street, but is comfortable to be ridden long distances on or off road too, and then on DJ.Its happy to be hoped on the rear wheel or balanced on the front, I have done some big drops and it lands plush and feels very ridged (more like steel). Iv sacrificed a few frames to find one this strong with a geometry suited to various riding styles.

Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $150.00
Purchased At:ChainReactionCyles.com
Strengths:Great for the price, beefy box section stays, strong and reliable, with a longer fork this bike would fly! quite light, disc brake cable mounts, geometry dialed for big forks, basically same as azonic. floats over jumps and turns well.
Weaknesses:with a shorter 100mm fork the front tyre hits your toes when doing x-ups and bar spins. (this hurts!). if you use a quick release back wheel it slides in the horizontal dropouts. this bent my disc. i think the paint is allright but it does chip easy and there are too many graphics.
Similar Products Used:gt ruckus, specialized p2
Bike Setup:marzocchi fork, mavic ex721 on hope xc front wheel, halo combat at rear, identiti seatpost, dmr jump seat, hope seatclamp, dmr v12 pedals, azonic bars and stem, odi grips, gusset cranks and singlespeed kit, 24 seven flame ring, michelin front tyre with dmr moto rear tyre, avid mechanical disc on rear, raceface headset and no front brake.
Bottom Line:strong, stable, reliable and briliant for the money if you build it up with good suitable parts. a tip would be to use a back wheel with bolts as this prevents the back wheel sliding in the dropouts. i would also advise chain tensioners for singlespeed.

Purchased At:Merlin (I think)
Strengths:Very very very strong and quite light. It has a very stiff rear end and totally beefed up super strong box sections - the box section joins I have seen which are better are on the orange msisle frame which is £500!
Weaknesses:X-ups become much more skillful as you have to have ur toe right back on the pedal or take ur foot off otherwise ur wheel catches on ur foot, stoppin the full x-up
Bike Setup:marzocchi exr comp forks, dmr dv wheels
Bottom Line:strong as hell, lightweight and cheap as f .u c. k! for jumping, bsx, downhill as good as other frames twice or three times the price

Strengths:This frame is crazly strong, with my old kona roast i could feel it flex all the time, but now i cant feel any flex at all. Beefy tubing/box section. With 5inch bombers it still has a fairly step headangle which is great.
Weaknesses:Horizontal dropouts and disc brakes can be a bit of a pain, but its a small price to pay for such a nice frame.

Strengths:*Beef Frame
*Takes big forks
*Confidence booster
*Gussets everywhere
Weaknesses:*Paint aint the best, but its still holding up on mine
Similar Products Used:Trailstar, DS1 and lots of other small xc frames used as makeshift hardcore hardtails.
Bike Setup:2000 mod, zzyzx, lx.. pretty standard
Bottom Line:Coyote made bikes for 2001! I didnt know till I came across this page..http://xc2.iwarp.com/ The new bikes are exactly the same as 2002 AZONIC frames, go figure?

I ran my bike with rigid forks for about 2 of the six months I've had it, and it totally stunk. But with the 6 inch forks up front this thing is a machine! Takes big hucks, dirt jumps and even the odd trail very nicely indeed. Finally I've found a frame worthy of upgrades, for example a monster T would go quite nice I think... and theres not too many frames in this price range that could handle a set of them.

Corners beatfully, reasonable light, and great jumper.
Weaknesses:Needs a +4" fork as someothers already pointed. If not, foot keeps banging the front tire.

Bottom Line:This is a great frame for the price paid. The price/quality relation is one of the best in the dual frames market.

Mount it with a 5" fork and you've got yourself an awesome dual/dirt bike.

REALLY can't go wrong with this one!

Favorite Trail:Lava Flow
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Purchased At:John Bull Cycles
Strengths:Great top-tube clearance, can run up to 2.7" tires on the rear. Hydraulic cable guides / int. standard disc mounts.
Not too heavy, descent colour / cool headtube badge. Can have a front mech fitted if need be and it looks well and truly strong enough to take triple clamps.
Weaknesses:Top routed cables can trash the paint job in a matter of seconds, I've used clear tape underneath the cables to stop this though. I probably won't care in a month or so's time, but it's nice to keep the bike looking scratch free for a while. The paint is a bit on the brittle side so it chips quite easily. Head tube angle is a wee bit steep. I've got 4.5 inch White Bros. up front and it's only just slack enough for steep DH courses, great for tunring though.
Similar Products Used:GT Avalanche (broken), Bauer Custom (broken), Avanti, Access and Specialized (all cracked or bent).
Bike Setup:White Bros DC118's. Magura HS22, DX V-Brakes on rear. Maxxis Mobster + High roller, XT drive chain, Raceface cranks, Mr Dirt chain guide, DX clipless, Mavic 521D on Ringle hub, Answer bars and 75mm stem, FSA Pig headset etc.
Bottom Line:The bike is good, but not quite 'there'. The head tube angle needs a wee bit of slackening to stop the handling F@#$'ing up under heavy braking or front heavy landings. It seems to handle beautifully through corners and takes drops with aplomb (ooooh get me!). It's nice to see such a chunky headtube area too. All of the other gussets are pretty confidence inspiring too. It's a plus being able to fit with rear tires and having welded disc mounts (way better than the 1st gen. Specialized P3's).
If you've got a 4" + fork to put on the front, buy one. If not you're gonna find that your foot will hit the f/wheel all the time while cornering and that the BB will be too low.

Strengths:Well strong frame, with gorgeous blue paintwork. STRONG! Head angle well sorted for around 5" forks dont let any loser moan about it being too steep, their obviously using crap forks.
Weaknesses:Paint flakes a bit, but what do you expect for only £250 all round anodizing! I'd rather have a tough frame that is reliable that one that looks pretty like some puffs do.

Weaknesses:bb far too low, paint chips, geomitry goes funny with a rigid fork. A big problem i noticed that the hose gide on the left chain stay messes with magura mounts and prevents the silver arm touching the frame.

Weaknesses:the geomatry is crap when you turn the bars the wheel touches your foot no matter how far back your foot is on the pedal and the cranck are very close to the floor (7cm away) and so when u turn a corner sharp they touch the floor.
