Strengths: Well built, sturdy rig. Comes with Pedal assist mode or full-on throttle...nice for when you want to give the legs a break or cruise through town. The smooth tires really roll well when using in regular pedal mode (no battery)..a pleasant surprise when pedaling this rather heavy bike.
Removable battery.. can charge indoors when traveling. Lock on the battery thwarts thieves.Weaknesses: None thus far. If you are a heavier person (230+) this probably isn't the bike for you as you'll need a stronger battery to power you up the hills. Bought this for my husband and while it worked fine, it was pretty slow going up minor inclines. I upgraded him to a different bike with a larger battery and it works so much better for him. Kept the Ecoride for myself. :)Bottom Line: If you want to get into an electric bike, I would recommend this one. It's great for buzzing around town, going to the store, and general fun riding. Easy to maintain much fun to ride.
