Strengths: Most fun dh bike to ride! Rock solid design, travel feels bottomless on the big hits, g-outs and very active through the roughest of terrain. Excellent pedaling can be used for everyday ride with a light build. corners quickly, very accurate tracking on every type of terrain, balanced in the air and stable upon take off of high speed jumps. floating rear shock keeps the bike low and planted, tires in the traction sticks to the ground when you want it to. Agile and quick to flick during tight trees and roots.Weaknesses: wheres the frame beer opener?Bottom Line: fun, fast, durable, worth the $$

OG DH Racer
a DownhillerDate Reviewed: February 5, 2013
Strengths: This bike accelerates quick, pedals so good, and its super stable at speed. It will take corners and hold traction as fast as you dare to go. The rear suspension feels great, and the design is my favorite out of all past race bikes. Looks killer! Also pretty light, I was able to build my bike to 37.3 lbs easily with DH tires and not the lightest components out there. Worth every penny!Weaknesses: The only weakness I can think of , which was fixed on the new 2013 model, would be the top tube height, though not too much of an issue, a little taller than my last bike, I will be getting a new model which looks like a perfect race machine!!Bottom Line: Any terrain you can throw at this bike, it will eat it right up, it jumps superbly, great pop, and easy to keep low when you want to. Turns on a dime at any speed, the G forces you can get in a corner on this thing are amazing! Do yourself a favor and test ride one if you get the chance. Bear in mind though, while test riding someone else's bike, the setup will be much different than your used to, so with any bike demo, that all must be taken into consideration. If possible, get it setup for you to test ride it. With the right setup, this is quite possibly one of the fastest race bikes on the planet!
Get one and secure a permanent spot on the podium!

Strengths: Cornering well
One of the best jumping dh bikes
Very poppy
Holds a line well
Pedals well
Fast as hell!
Weaknesses: Tall stack height (if your short like me)Bottom Line: This is my second race season on this bike and I am in love with it! It jumps like a hard tail, rails burm like a rocket ship and has tons of pop. The bike also pedals great when you have to get on the gas hard! But dont worry there is no brake jack when you have to scrub your speed. The bike is very predictable and stupid fast! The only thing that bugged me on the bike was the stack height because I am short. I fixed this with an internal headset, low rise bars and a drop stem. Bike is now dialed as can be! Has to be one of the most fun bikes to ride out there! Glad I went OG.
