cornering,agility, simplicity, weight, looks, sizing
stiff suspension under braking, chain growth, classic single piv issues
The Izumi corners better than any other bike I've owned. It's also very agile for an 8" bike. You don't plow through everything, instead you pick crafty lines and work the bike. Jumping is more intuitive than any other bike I've ridden. High Forward single pivs are known to jump well and this one does for sure. You will feel the suspension stiffen up under braking, but that's to be expected with a single piv. You can buy a floating brake kit, but I don't mind the stiffening. It actually helps communicate the trail to you so you can work the bike better. i have an 07 which has three geo/bb settings which is a nice feature. Geo feels dialed for me in the middle setting, with full on race mode in upper most setting. Over all I'm in love with the bike, and don't care about the dated design. People get WAY to caught up on acronym linkage designs. The Izimu is a fast, agile, super fun bike with classic looks.

Lightweight and simple frame, fits on car-rack, PC do not collect mud which makes it easy to clean.
Ride wise it is a bike that can handle both finesse and bomber riding styles, I do both.
For taller riders there is a lack of frame sizes that fit me.
Good DH bike that does everything well. When I bought it I started getting comfortable in the air and almost started doing whips! Quick bike that is easy to flip around and fast to change lines sideways. Makes you a better rider when you understand that it is you that has to get better to be able to get more out of the bike.
I unfortunately had to sell mine b/c of the somewhat small size of the Large frame, it is short in the cock-pit. If you are appr 190 cm tall i really suggest a test ride before buying one (I am 193 cm with long arms and legs).

Relatively light, strong, stiff, durable, low maintenance, adjustable geo (I like the slack & low setting), stable and balanced in the corners and at high speeds, and my favourite part is how it maintains momentum. Subjectively, I love the looks of this bike.
It has quite long chainstays, which means it's really hard to pull up the front end, and the sweetspot for manualling is tiny so that any little correction or bump in the ground will bring you down. It wasn't meant for that kind of stuff, so that doesn't affect my 5 chili rating, but it should be noted that this bike was meant for taking the ideal line and looking ahead without having to worry about where the smooth parts of the trail are. It's ability to avoid obstacles was sacrificed a bit for it's ability to absorb them, so it's not very good for tight stuff or hopping over obstacles on the trail.
This bike was designed for the South African downhill scene, which means good old fashioned pure downhill, and they knew what they were doing. The shore is for freeride bikes and tricks are for kids, this bike was made for railing turns and holding momentum. It's a very minimalist philosophy; there's nothing superfluous on the bike, and versatility doesn't win races. It's the bike that downhill built.

I've tried a lot of different "downhill" bikes (Specialized, Rocky Mountain, Norco, Trek), but they really aren't the same thing. I would imagine the Orange 224 and Cannondale Judge would be more like this.

Simplicity, stiffness, cornering capability, light weight, decent price
None, really. Anodized instead of paint would be nice, but it's not necessary.
This bike is light, sturdy, it corners great and it flies through the air nicely. I feel as though I can push it to whatever my limit is without a second thought. There really isn't a comparison to the Highline (the Highline is a tank). Compared to a Sunday, it's lighter and stiffer, but it has a bit higher center of mass. To me, both are great bikes, but the Morewood is really something special.

Simplicity and ease of maintenance, lightweight, corners great, pedals great with a quality shock (Cane Creek Double Barrel, Fox DHX, ect.), great customer service.
My only complaint is the cable routing for rear cables lacked keepers on the downtube near the pivot. This allows the cables to slip to either side and can be rubbed. One zip tie fixed this and keepers are added to the '07 Izimu.
Morewood claims “the bikes that downhill built” and I believe this to be an accurate description of the Izimu. The bike is everything that you need in a DH bikes without everything that you don’t. It is simple and will keep on the track rather than in the pits. Morewood is a great company that makes an exceptional product I could not be more pleased with the bike.

Cornering, Lite Weight, Simple Design
None that I know of
This bike is great. I think it is a great downhill race bike. It is lite, and it corners incredibly well, I think just about as good as my brother's sunday. I don't think it would be the best bike for big drops to flat or anything like that. The single-pivot keeps it simple, but still works great over breaking bumbs. Overall, I think it is a great downhill race bike.

light, quiet, sweet like candy
havent found any yet...
The bike rocks, nails turns like your mom at 2 in the morning. Honestly though, I really haven't ridden a bicycle this good since like '96, if you are not a big guy like me (140 lbs.) and like a light bike this is the ill-minute you have been waiting for.
