Strengths:    Mint bike, the DW link soaks up all the bumps. The boxxers are mint plush forks that take the hits well. Pedals pretty mint well aswel. The direct mount stem is mint aswel so your bars dont turn when you crash.

Weaknesses:    The 5th elements not that great but it does the job.

Bottom Line:
Sweet racing bike, quite light, The DT swiss wheels are quite soft on the rim walls so it you hit them pretty hard the get some dints. The boxxers are mean forks. e-thirteen hasnt dropped a chain yet. If your cool you should buy one.

Strengths:    DW-Link rear end, well spec'd components

Weaknesses:    Low BB (weakness?)

Bottom Line:
Bike absolutely rails. This is my first downhill bike that isnt a bullit (went through 3 frames) and I am kicking myself for waiting this long. The DW link through rock gardens makes it feel like you are riding on flat...truly an amazing engineering feat from DW and IH.

Only complaint is that I beat the crap out of the pedals on rocks due to the low rider BB height, but it does pay off in handling improvements.

All in all, I love my Sunday and cant wait to get it to N*!

Strengths:    Boxxer fork, geometry, looks, handling.

Weaknesses:    Rear shock?

Bottom Line:
This was a clearance bike at the local Performance Bike shop. Original price $3,999.00. I paid $2,100.00. Maiden voyage was to south mountain, and it rode like a dream. Next month after the trip to Sunrise I will update this review. Solid bike, especially for the price. They have one left in stock!

I bought the 19" (large) and I'm 230 pounds. Very smooth ride. I've read some bad reviews on the 5th element shock, but I think it's a decent rear shock. I'll upgrade to a Fox possibly in the future.

Solid on the downhills, and great for launching of ledges. Hayes Mag hydraulics worked great and smooth. Boxxer soaked everything up and did not use all 8" of travel.

Strengths:    It has a limited amount of swag and the suspension absorbs the trail like no other. It also handles very quik and is easy to jump and manuver aroung rocks and obstakles. this bike is also kapable of manualling and ridin wheelies with ease.

Weaknesses:    It is a little heavy but still sick.

Bottom Line:
This is a fantasatic bike and is perfect for downhill and freeride trails. It handles like a champion especialy if it is setup to the riders liking!

Strengths:    Super Low BB=Amazing Cornering, Bike feels like it is on rails. Loves to drift corners at high speed. Racer geo inspires confidence when pinning it to the max. DW link is an awesome design that handles the small stuff so well, but when it comes time to pin it through the rocks it's even better.

Weaknesses:    Super Low BB makes it necessary to be extremely mindful of your pedal strokes. Cranks often drag, and hit on anything and everything due to such a low bb height. 5th element shock isn't anything to write home about.

Bottom Line:
This bike is truly amazing. Every time I rail a corner I can't wipe the smile off my face. Truly confidence inspiring. Highly reccomended for the serious DHer/racerboy

Strengths:    Cornering due to a low bb.
Pedaling, no bob when just rotating the pedals. It will bob if you jump from side to side on the pedals. Geometry is comfortable and the spec pleases most riders.
The 06 boxxer team is great.
The Funn direct mount stem is nice.
The mega exo quad bottom bracket is stiff and still smooth as butter.

Weaknesses:    Rear shock (fifth element), too much pedal patform(top stroke compression damping). The sunday has a low leverage ratio on the shock and no pedal bob with a smooth stroke; so there is no need for a pedal platform. Also the mounting hardware for the shock is too sloppy. The dt swiss fr 6.1d rims have one flaw, the bead hook dents in way to easy. You can get a handful of indents on the rim in 1/2 a month and the the tire won't stay seated on it. And if a tire won't stay on there the rim is useless. The fsa gap drive side crank arm needs stronger chainring/bashguard monuting tabs. I hit a rock and the tabs bent in and now the chainring nuts rub on the chain guide. There is a handfull of spots around the rear suspenion that catch and hold mud adding about 1-2lbs of weight that you can feel toward the end of a run. Washing out mud dirt from some areas is impossible or difficult without disassembly.

Bottom Line:
It pedals well, it corners well, but the complete bike is held back by the rims and the rear shock. Neither are easy to replace, but when thats done its a stout bike.

Strengths:    dw-link suspension, corners very well, overall build, silent and flowy on the roughest trails.

Weaknesses:    NONE!!

Bottom Line:
this bike is by far the best bike ive ever riden, you can throw it into any corner and it will just blow right through it. The faster you go the better this bike handles! id highly reccomend this bike to anyone who is into downhill. If your more into the freeride kind of thing this bike really isnt for you (the low bottom bracket height allows the pedals & bashring to clip the ground easy which wouldnt be the best for drops.) but i would reccomend looking at the dw-link 7 series.

Strengths:    DW-Link suspension, overall build, weight. I absolutely love this bike. it is by far the fastest bike that i've ever ridden. the suspension lets you pedal through the nastiest terrain like it's a paved road. the bike just plain pedals well. the low bottom bracket height really makes the bike corner well. it rails the corners.

Weaknesses:    the paint chips too easily. i also do not like the boxxer fork and the fifth element's rebound is stil too slow. Otherwise, it's a great bike.

Bottom Line:
I absolutely love this bike. it has some of the best suspension that the bike industry has ever seen. it is a perfect race bike: long and low. the geometry is spot on. the bike feels perfect and the suspension excells in every environment. great bike and i'd highly recommend it to any one looking for a race bike.

Strengths:    Perfect geometry, pedals very well, corners amazing.

Weaknesses:    The only weaknesses of this bike were the incorrect sized hardware for the frame(which was replaced by downcycles, thanks!), and the shock I had to send back into progressive to get tuned for the dw-link suspension design.

Bottom Line:
I love this bike, once all the kinks are worked out (correctly sized hardware and correct tune on suspension) the bike is amazing. I'm giving it a 5 despite the flaws, as they are correctable.
