Strengths:    lots of adjustments, fairly light for the size of bike, rides like nothing else, takes everything u throw at it

Weaknesses:    3.0 air sucks, upgraded to 5.0 coil rides much better, fork feels no where near as nice as the shock

Bottom Line:
Great Bike for the money would recomend it to any one who wants to downhill race or just shred on weekends

Strengths:    very good beginer downhiller, very fast through the rough stuff, front suspension soaks up anything, suprisingly not bad to ride on flat or up hill but it still is tiring, great looks (love this bike)

Weaknesses:    rear suspension needs upgrading, seat tube needs to be cut (sacked myself one to many times)

Bottom Line:
a great bike for the price, you will not get a better downhiller for what you pay and you will never regret buying this bike

Strengths:    everything seriously. i have not had a single issue with this bike for 6 months now and i have been riding it minimum 2 full days a week.

Weaknesses:    chain guide. paint. but who needs it. "it makes it look mean". the pivots can get annoying soemtimes lubing up.

Bottom Line:
is that this bike is a awesome entry level DH/FR out of box and ride bike. i race it, freeride it, jump it and it mellows eveything out. there are hardly any adjustments so you do not have to worry about those. the settings between freeride and downhill give it versatility. the frame is BOMBER. i have a 2 inch dent right in front of the BB and nothing cracked. the fork stands up to it's name "bomber". i took a chunk out the the lower stancion right where the seals are and nothing is wrong. i mean right where the seal is. the fork is probabely it's downfall if you are racing it just because it sits a little higher and is a little on the heavier side. but if you are racing it that much then you are probabely going to upgrade to an ata or boxxer anyways. devinci is one of the only companies to still offer lifetime warranties because they know there frames are indestructable. i would recommend this bike to anybody i know.

Strengths:    The bike is really light, super nice suspension, super good handaling and fast. This is the best bike i have ever riden.

Weaknesses:    pedals hit the ground if you are going over bumps and pedaling.

Bottom Line:
If you buy this bike you will not be disapointed best bike ever. This bike would be best if you really like to downhill i would not buy it if you have to pedal up the hill.

Strengths:    Weight, adjustability, looks, feel.

Weaknesses:    Ermm none tbh. Solid.

Bottom Line:
Value for money. Setting the standard for light-weight big downhill bikes. Feels very fast and responsive on demanding DH tracks, super plush and adjustable to your style. Only slight critism is that the fork is fairly heavy BUT at this price I dont really think its a problem. Overal the standard bike weighs in at 41 lbs - so for a stock bike pretty light. but is so easy to shave the lbs off. For a 9 inch travel bike i am soooo happy about wieght equiptment and the price. Bargain.

Group rides, don't park like a tool. LLF parking Wilson Mill

just a PSA here a week ago there was a group ride at LLF (u know who you are) and everyone decided to park at Wilson Mill (rt3/rt62) but some toolbags parked --right directly up against the rocks where a MAJOR commuter trail comes off the sidewalk-- and cuts through so commuters can roll up to Old ... Mount Wilson DH on Two wheels - One for me and one for Augie!

This was a long 13 miles of mostly DH with tons of steep, rocky, rutted technical sections, and plenty of uphill climbing to boot, and I was worn out long before the end! We both had more than our share of nasty pedal strikes and bails! There was so much riding to do so we only filmed a small portio ... Read More »

Who maintains Wilson Creek Trails?

I'm still fairly new to the sport and have apparently been fortunate enough to have ridden well maintained trails. I never realized how bad trails can get. Until I got out to Wilson Creek today for the first time in several months. Yikes. So now I realize that I've been free loading on others ... Read More »
