Strengths:
everything seriously. i have not had a single issue with this bike for 6 months now and i have been riding it minimum 2 full days a week.
Weaknesses:
chain guide. paint. but who needs it. "it makes it look mean". the pivots can get annoying soemtimes lubing up.
Similar Products Used:
not that i used them...... kona stab deluxe, demo
Bike Setup:
stock with upgraded e-thirteen chain guide, minion front and back but the kenda tires are still good.
Bottom Line:
is that this bike is a awesome entry level DH/FR out of box and ride bike. i race it, freeride it, jump it and it mellows eveything out. there are hardly any adjustments so you do not have to worry about those. the settings between freeride and downhill give it versatility. the frame is BOMBER. i have a 2 inch dent right in front of the BB and nothing cracked. the fork stands up to it's name "bomber". i took a chunk out the the lower stancion right where the seals are and nothing is wrong. i mean right where the seal is. the fork is probabely it's downfall if you are racing it just because it sits a little higher and is a little on the heavier side. but if you are racing it that much then you are probabely going to upgrade to an ata or boxxer anyways. devinci is one of the only companies to still offer lifetime warranties because they know there frames are indestructable. i would recommend this bike to anybody i know.
