$2800.00 | | Purchased At: | pinkbike | | Strengths: | rides great through rockgardens and pedals efficiently enough | | Weaknesses: | -bad service from commencal as far as getting parts (derailour hangers)
-hangers were weak and broke alot | | Bike Setup: | boxxer world cups with vivid rear shock and saint drive train on hope pro 2s | | Bottom Line: | Its a great bike but doesn't live up to it's potential with stock build and takes some tweaking and playing around with to find the best set up. I recommend building up a frame(supreme dh world cup) with whatever stetup suits the rider best and have had the best results with the boxxer/vivid set up. I only had trouble with finding a chain guide that works and breaking the rear derailour hanger (alot!- i fabricated my own to solve that problem) but otherwise it's a flawless bike and rides like butter! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2000.00 | | Purchased At: | Second Hand | | Strengths: | This bike is fantastic in its adjustability to tweak it exactly to your riding style as well as to the trail/race you are riding. There is a head tube sleeve that will change the HTA from 64 degrees to +/- 1 degree. You can also purchase a +/- 1/2 degree sleeve as well. There is an adjustment to lengthen or shorten the wheelbase, as well as an adjustment for where the brakes lock onto the disc when braking to increase or reduce the amount of brake jack while riding. The suspension design and geometry of the bike make it very fluid on the trail and on races. I have taken the bike over rock gardens, through kickers, step ups and a muriad of other stuff and its been fantastic! | | Weaknesses: | They only have 2 sizes: S/M and L/XL. I am right in between the two and would have loved a size accordingly. | | Similar Products Used: | Santa Cruz Nomad | | Bike Setup: | Mostly stock with MRP chainguide, Deity Dirty Thirty bars, Thompson seatpost | | Bottom Line: | This is a fantastic bike with plenty of suspension and tuning capabilities to be your favorite DH/FR bike. You can slack the headtube out to 63 degrees and lengthen the wheelbase for super fast races or tighten it up to 65 with a shorter wheelbase and do some more tight techy freeride with it. I run a 38 tooth up front with a 11-32 cassette out back and it actually climbs pretty well. I won't be doing any marathon XC stuff but I am more than happy to take it to trails I need to climb when the DH is nice. It is a super fluid bike with everything that I could ask for. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Sweden Date Reviewed: May 27, 2009 | | Favorite Trail: | Åre | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Strengths: | Strong, fast, agile, eats small stuff and kills bigger stuff | | Weaknesses: | None, if it's used for what it is intended for. | | Similar Products Used: | Kona Stinky 07 | | Bike Setup: | Commencal Supreme DH Team Replica, stock | | Bottom Line: | Most impressive bike, I usually ride "light DH" with those ocassional rock gardens and really rough stuff. At our local trails it has performed way beyond my imagination, it's truly amazing. As other has mentioned, you won't feel that it has "only" 7" of travel, it feels more like 10" thank to the amazing contact system. It sticks to the ground and pedals really easy through stuff. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

The frame cracked in not one, not two. but three places, Poorly welded frame.
Extremely unimpressive warranty service.
You can only run the factory chainguide comfortably.
| | Similar Products Used: | a supercycle.....durability wise | | Bike Setup: | Sram, Race face, Sun ringle | | Bottom Line: | If you want a light nimble race ready bike, that you intend on only racing it twice a month and wont change anything from factory. Then go for it, But not too tough, I ride narmal dh very well, I dont crash or abuse bikes. This is just poorly welded | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$5000.00 | | Strengths: | corners like it is on rails, jumps effortlessly, is really light and strong frame | | Weaknesses: | None | | Similar Products Used: | 224, intense M3 | | Bike Setup: | fox 40's, SRAM x0, truvativ cranks and bb | | Bottom Line: | This bike doesn't compare to anything else i have ridden it is truly in a class of it's own, some people think that 180mm isn't enough but the way the travel is set up it feel bottomless and much better than previous bike with more suspension. I would recommend this bike or frame to anyone. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Rheola! | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Purchased At: | Bikeactive.com | | Strengths: | Grip is amazing and it corners very well. | | Weaknesses: | None. | | Similar Products Used: | 223, 224 | | Bike Setup: | VIP frame, 40's, Saint, Hope 6ti/M4 | | Bottom Line: | This bike grips so well it gives the rider time to think about lines instead of fighting the trail. Alot of people might be put off by the fact that it only has 7" but this never an issue as it never feels out of its depth. If anything it is a plus point as it doenst feel wallowy. It also feels very stable in the air and it whips round corners due to the short back end. Another great Commencal product! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
