Strengths:
Fastest get up and go of any bike I have had. The avalanch suspention front and rear. Makes Marzocchi seem like something off a huffy. Corners like my PDC DH-1 but with out the bottom out problems.
Weaknesses:
It is heavy, mine ways 42 pounds and that is with the best components. But I am not trying to win the world cup downhill so weight dosn't matter that much. It is very comfortable to ride and I can do full exstended play days at wistler with out the terrible forarm pump.

Bike Setup:
avalanch Ti front and avalanch rear shock with titanium spring. Sram XO drive train. Carbon downhill handle bars, these help lots with reducing the shock transmition through the bike. Hope hubes laced to atomic rims. Avid code breaks and an Azonic luv seat. Best down hill saddle on the market.
Bottom Line:
This is the one. It is by far the best down hill bike I have riden. Fast, jumps and takes bump like no other.

Amazing build. PEADAL PEDAL PEDAL. NO KIKCBACK. floating brake=no brake jack. Simple and amazing strong.
Weaknesses:
Hard to get out of the united states. Had to order direct so no pro deal.

Bottom Line:
Bottom line is that this bike is the most PEDALABLE bike ever. From big rock gardens to drops you can just spin the cranks through everything and pick up more speed. The jackshaft system gives you insane ground clearance because the lower chainwheel is so small. For me, it was a split between the V10 and the racelink (this bike). The V10 has much pedal feedback at the end of the travel. I like VPP for trail riding and XC, because the suspension locks out for forward motion after the initial squat, but for pure DH the brooklyn is better because of the lack of pedal kikcback that allows you to go hard and fast despite the terrain. It's a littl more expensive than the V10, but if you're serisous about DH then you've alreaday come to grips with the price of things, eh? Definitely worth the money, and the avalance shock, tuned to work with you is superb.
If you don't have a local dealer call the shop directly and they can cusom one to you UPS.

Bottom Line:
this bike is an absolute monster it will take you over anything and everything. you could complain about weight but when its aiming down it doesnt make much diffrernce appart from its a little harder to stop. This bike makes a outstanding race bike and can be rode extremley fast without braking.

It's bullet proof,design and construction. Virtually always active pedaling or breaking.
Weaknesses:
Rust but that'd probablly take 20years of neglect to cause a problem,however these bikes will probablly last 20 years.

This bike is the goods. I've ridden most bikes and this is it,I came from a BB7 before it and loved that bike but this is stronger stiffer and better. It loves to be riden hard,just holding on doesn't cut it(although it'll work)this bike begs to be thrashed. Never bottoms,you tend to destroy rear rims cause you can't feel them getting smashed because the rear takes square edge hits so well,I'm taliking big stuff here aswell,cassing 25ft gaps.I'll never sell this thing unless it's for a gearbox bike of the same or similar design and strength. Loving it,although it's killed my bike slutting days,I'm now a loyal Broolyn lover.

Cornering, holding a straight line, handling, jumping, sprinting, bump absorption, quality build, avalanche rear shock, and the company.
Weaknesses:
absolutely none. some people would like to say weight but mine is built up at 44 lbs. and could be even lighter.

Bottom Line:
this is a true race bike that rides in complete silence. geometry and handling are spot on. machining, welds and build are way beyond anything else out there. bump absorption and pedaling are amazing, it is by far the fastest dh bike i have ridden in every aspect. i could go on for days about how much i am amazed by this bike. if you want something that will run virtually matinance free and last years then this is your bike.
