Submitted by Wappers a Downhiller from Wales, UK
Date Reviewed: September 17, 2009
Favorite Trail:Spooky
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $6000.00
Purchased At:2Stage UK
Strengths:The Spec is fantastic for the price, FSA gravity, Sram XO, a proper Downhill racing machine, the pedal/sprint on the elite 9 is exellent, very stable over jumps aswell, well balanced bike
Weaknesses:the innertubes and thats all, the bike is that good!
Similar Products Used:Santa Cruz V10, GT DHi, Giant DH team, Orange 223
Bike Setup:Not changed anything on this bike and dont think i will, as for the actual set up i followed 2stages set up guide and it works brilliantly
Bottom Line:If you a privateer racer and want a bike that is ready to go with a top spec for a good price then get one of these weapons! this bike wipes the floor with all my previous bikes ive had, will definatly be sticking with an elite 9 for a while
Value Rating:5Overall Rating:5
