Strengths: the frame is light, ultra stable, nice weldings and forged parts
Weaknesses: head angle a little steep
Bottom Line:
this is a review for a P2 frame 2008(the same as p3). this so much better than 2005 P series. manuals great. it bunnyhops real easy with a 3100g fork, its light and easy to throw around. great frame but the head angle is a little steep but its ok. great bike!

Strengths: Its a smooth bike it jumps, stable in the air goes where you want it to go. Has good components and has a lifetime warrenty on the frame!
Weaknesses: Probably the wheels, hubs and cranks and a little over priced in my opinion
Bottom Line:
Its a great bike for people starting to learn bigger tricks and hitting bigger dirtjumps its a smooth flowy bike that helps you progress bottom line best bike ive bought yet
Strengths: The Bear-claw sent back the new version of the P3 and has continued to run 04 frame. Its so far indestructable. Light-weight, excellent confidence inspiring ride feel. Best hardtail I've ridden.
Weaknesses: Powder coat finish is a mare to clean.Get some Hope SH1T Shifter and scrubbing brush and give it some tough love.
Bottom Line:
If you can find one of these frames, buy it. If you run it with 24" rear wheel be aware of the low BB. (if you haven't run it with 24" rear, its worth a try. Very stable but easily manouverable). Can't say enough about this frame, it awesome. The 07 P1 is pretty damn good aswell. Only had a short ride, but its the best since the 04 version.

Bottom Line:
held up to everything i threw at it. i wasnt really hard on it but i hit more 3-5 drops to flat than i can count and a few 8 or so footers and lots of jumps. never had a problem with it till i got nailed by a car and it bent. from the first time i rode it till the last time i loved it.

Strengths: good frame geometry, light as anything, good for manuals, but.......
Weaknesses: the gusset on the headtube has just cracked, its only minor, but it still cracked, and its too light, so when you are in the air on a jump, it fees really hollow and doesnt feel to health landig big doubles.
Bottom Line:
I thought that the bike was the bollocks.....but then.....i tried a Revell 450R, and it rocks my world, and now my P3 frame is just laying there on its own in the garage...aawww, poor frame, but ur still a piece of crap!

Strengths: The price was insane; some fool traded it in at my shop for a meager $300 credit, I then bought it the same day for $350 cash. I couldn't believe the price. Great group, great fork, awesome ride
Weaknesses: Heavy like a neutron star. Sun Rhyno rims were a lil wimpy compared to the frame/fork combo. piss-poor seatpost, heavy tires
Bottom Line:
Considering the price I payed, about the best value I ever got out of a complete bike. This frame was built to last--great for DH/DJ/DS/FR. I'm not a big fan of specialized, but they got it right this time around. For the year I owned it I thrashed the hell out of it and only needed to replace the rear rim (w/ Sun Mammoth rim), due to the Sun Rhyno rim tacoing on me doing 360s. I ended up selling this bike locally on ebay for $300 + xbox w/ 4 controllers + IR remote + 22 games + carrying backpack (which i sold later that day for another $350.) So after a year of abuse I was able to net $650 for this bike, and only payed 350.. not a bad deal. I don't miss this bike, but it was definately a good ride for the money.
Bike Setup: Bomber through axle fork, Truvativ hussefelt 2-ring crankset, deore ft / xt rear der, deore shifters, xt cassette, specalized / sun rhyno wheelset, Hayes HFX-9 brakes (8"ft, 6"rr), piss-poor seatpost.

Strengths: Awsome Frame geometry, Im a 6'1 230 pund guy and this thing is awsome comming from a 24" cruiser bmx bike.
Some might say the skulls are cliche' but i think its a plus for this bike it realy does look good.
Sram components are buttery smooth
It just feels nice.
Weaknesses: Grips are slick as snot if your hands start to get sweaty but gloves fix that problem.
Fork is heavy as hell but beefy so i guess its a trade off
multispeed but not so much a downside as just a dislike of mine personaly but i think im getting used to it.
Bottom Line:
I was really sceptical on weather my chunky ass would fit on one of these bikes and feel safe but it does. I would recomend this bike for all levels of riders that want to get into DJ or freeride.

Strengths: EVERYTHING. this bike is uber strong. The frame is geometry is perfect, low bb, short chain stay, low top tube. you can manual for days on it and i found spins were easier than other bikes. Great for dirt jumping, urban riding and handles well in parks too.
Weaknesses: nothing big. the skulls on the paint work chip easily but thats all.
Bottom Line:
THIS BIKE ROCKS. i would highly recommend this bike for anyone who is into dirt jumping or urban riding. Im a big guy 6'1", 80kg and after trying all other dirt jumpers i had my eyes on there was no question about it, i had to buy the P.3. Its solid, easy to do tricks on, looks great, light.

Strengths: I bought a 2004 frame only off of pinkbike.com and built the bike up with all 2006 p.3 parts. Most amazing bike i have ever been on. all of my friends ride too. I've owned a good amount of bikes and this is by far the best. The balance on these is amazing, the angles for holding manuals is PERFECT. STRONG FRAME!
Weaknesses: I'd marry it but it's not human.
Bottom Line:
I encourage anyone who wants to imprpve their riding skill to pick up one of these frames. Their extremely light and very strong. RIDE SPECIALIZEDD!!!

Strengths: Everything about this bike is just soo good , the frame is really strong and ridgid , ive never had any probs so far....touch wood. the best thing about it , is that i can't keep off of it , i'm always jumping onit , and no other bike i go on will be as good as ma sexy P3!!
Weaknesses: the only thing that was weak was the bash guard and the rims , and grips were a little soft and wearing! but apart from that , itz all perfect!!
Bottom Line:
ive now had this wonderful bike 4 about 2 and a half years , and it hasn't gone crap or snapped , and i would advise you 2 get 1 , seriosly , it's worth , its wicked!!!! this is the ultimate dirt jump bike , but dont use it 4 mountain biking or park or street , coz u will just ruin it, but if ur a real dirt jumper , get this bike immediately!!
Favorite Trail: itz gotta be either penshurst or bostall man!!

Strengths: The frame is very well designed for easy handing, the ability to more easily perform tricks with a very low toptube, ability to manual easily with a low BB height and centralized mass. The bike is very light and is easy to rotate in tricks. The new Avid Juicy 5 breaks are very reliable in all weather conditions and hold when you need and are very comfortable. Strong S-Type rims, Hozlfeller cranks, Stout hubs and Lo-pro Mag pedals make it a very sturdy bike. The Marzocchi DJ Urban is a nice, light, simple fork that delivers great street performance.
Weaknesses: I do not like the e.thrirteen chainguid and bash guard. They are very weak. The bashguard cracks easily and makes a terrible noise. Also, single speed this bike. A derailleur on the street will get destroyed. And route the front brake cable through your head tube so you can do barspins and tailwips. Seat stays should have been attached better... lots of side loading breaks them easily.
Bottom Line:
Best Street bike I've ridden to date. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone looking seriously into getting into the skate, street/urban, or DJ scenes...
Bike Setup: Stock 2006 Specialized P.3 except for these subtractions: X-9 derailleur/shifter, e.thirteen chainguid and bashguard. And these additions: DMR singlespeed kit, hollow starnut for roughting the front brake cable, and Truvativ bashguard with washers.
