Strengths:    Beautiful, light, responsive, fast accelerating.

Weaknesses:    None for given use.

Bottom Line:
Whilst it may look like it could be a DJ bike, it's not really it's been designed as a 4 crosser, meaning multi-gears and a moderately long 420mm chain stay are what it's prefered use. I use it for city commutes, urban fun, hard pack dry trails with a longer seat post and at the local BMX track, works well. with replaceable dropouts it would be neat if Nukeproof could supply shorter dropouts, say making the chainstay 410 or 405mm as an option to try out.

I got them on with a lever and aired them up no compressor, no goop, no tubes, and they hold pressure overnight from 40psi to 30psi. ... Read More »

How to remove snap ring from uppers on Fox forks?

I need to remove my air-side guts out to replace a seal that is causing oil from the lower to leak into the air chamber reducing my travel and making my ride harsh. Fox sent the part for free (I love Fox). I see a snap ring, but its not like I have seen in the past with other forks where you use a ... Read More »

Command post makes loud "snap" when sitting on it

I am off the bike right now due to injury and I haven't ridden my bike in about 5 weeks. Imagine my surprise when I went to sit on it (day dreaming) and felt/heard a loud snap when I put my weight on seat. It seems like the command post has developed a bit of vertical play that makes a loud snap ... Read More »

Manitou R7 Elite TPC front shock - anyone snap a pic for me??

I had some spare stuff laying around the house and just traded someone for a 2006 Giant Anthem 2, to have as a spare for friends, etc. Frame is in beautiful condition, just a little rough around the edges (missing front brake, and needs a tune-up no biggie). However, the shock.. on the quick relea ... Read More »

Does anyone else snap the chain on their fatbike a lot?

I break chains all the time on my Pugsley. This is my second Pugsley and both were affected. It is always when I shift too hard under load going up an incline, yes I know this is my fault, but the weird thing is it never happens on other bikes I own. It's just when I get caught offguard and need ... Read More »
