Strengths: great all rounder for the beginner rider handles jups and small drops allrightWeaknesses: in saying that in the 6 months ive had it it has started wearing down. a few weeks after i got it i noticed the right crank was loose so i tightened the bolt but it kept coming loose took it to the bike shop they "fixed it" but then i noticed the crank wasnt on straight took it back and they "fixed it' again the bolt then started to become loose again so i had a look at it. the crank has worn because it has become wobly so often and was loose fitting so when i took it to the bike shop for a third time in 4 months they decided to glue the crank in place, fair enough, if they had glued it on straight so i now have given up on it have stripped the frame and decided to build up my specialized p2 frame instead and get a new set of cranks.Bottom Line: excelent for begginer but if u ride hard it runns down fast im only 50kg (115lb) so its up to u i did plenty of 4-5 foot drops while i was still learning how to ride and didnt really land properly but the little things started going wrong deralliuer probs and such from just normal trail riding.

Strengths: Doesn't have any it is one of the worst bikes i have ever ridden. The bike was put together great by the team down at gold cross but the product is just really bad.Weaknesses: Crap forks, Crap frame, Crap brakes but the seat is alright.Bottom Line: Bottom line DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE if your looking for a good beginners bike get the mongoose fireball, now that is a great bike for the price.

Strengths: Looks Great, Feels chunky. Incredible frame, Much better than your standard MTB. lower seat, wider grip = good times
Perfect for a beginner on tar, in a striaght line.Weaknesses: For off-road use, the standard set up is useless. The brakes are pathetic and i already broke the left crank after 1 months use, going down a quarry, not fun trying to find missing pieces... The twist grip gears are not great.Bottom Line: I want to love this bike, it's the closest set up i've had to a dirt bike ride. Maybe once i've changed all the crappy parts. Definately not a good bike to buy if you don't want to cough up the dough for upgrades.

Strengths: Teh frame is strong and durable,
As I use the '06 one the colour (gold)
Crank arms are really strong.
Its Ok on the trails aswell as DJ. I have used this for single track.
The tires are super grippy and durable.Weaknesses: The brakes died on me pretty quickly.
My BB (bottom bracket) also died within the first year.
Bottom Line: An awsome product that is durable and strong.
A few parts might need replacing after a while as with most bikes. Nothing major...
Recomended for people starting out with DJ (dirt jumps)
If you're a more experienced rider then this is Ok too.
Not bad on trails but dont buy it purley for that purpose.
Good for street too but a 24" pecfic bike would be better.

The forks are good for Dirt Jumping, also for downhill as well.Weaknesses: None Really, but the Grips Wore a little easy but they are pretty grippy.Bottom Line: It's an awsome all round bike. Strengths: Sturdy Frame, Great Brakes.Weaknesses: Gears Become Loose Quickly.Bottom Line: A Great Bike For Messing Around With Jumps On. Will Need To Be Serviced Regularly To Keep It Up To Scratch. If You Are Just Getting Into Jump/ Downhill, Then This Is A Great Bike To Start Off With. Saying That, Even If You Are A More Experienced Rider Who Just Wants A Good Sturdy Bike To Mess Around On Then This Will Keep You Happy For A Good While!

Strengths: bling looks, light frame, very chuckable over jumps (at least compared to my mates DMR and STP 1). low price for a jump bike. i have heard that the frame is very strong.Weaknesses: well the forks are crap and the rims are just as bad! gears could be better, but they do the job. tacod my front rim and snapped my forks off a small (3-4) foot jump, but i am a 90kg rider who rides pretty harshly.Bottom Line: good for a budget, smooth rider. dont buy if you ride hard, because it wont hack it! also definatley a jump bike, ive found it much harder to ride steep downhill drops than on my crappy old aggressor (that didnt have suspension!)
