Strength:

Good bike for mid-level riders. "Murdered out" paint scheme. Good SRAM parts. Good forks for the price.

Weakness:

Very heavy.

I have the 2012 model in the dark gray/black paint job. As soon as I saw it, I wanted it. All around it's a pretty good bike, except going uphill. It is a very heavy bike. I'm 5' 2" 130lbs. I can lift my STP with 3 fingers. The Revel 0 feels almost twice as much. Even with aftermarket parts it still is heavy. Add the Thudbuster didn't help either with its weight. Should I have waited and got something lighter but comparable? Yes. Damn you Giant for doing a good job on the paint job. Aside from the weight, it is a pretty good bike. It gets compliments on the looks though. I will get some new rims so to black it all out, since the Giant logo is stuck on the stock rims. I didn't like Giant plastered all over the bike, so I pulled off all the white stickers I could. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 chilis is the weight. Go to a shop and pick it up to see what I mean.
