Product Description

The PINSCHER is a classy, Canadian made, affordable frame. It uses the same perfect DO*BER*MANN geometry as all our models, and it's fully hand made, inhouse, just like the others. We made it just a little bit easier to build and less expensive to produce, but made sure it would be just as fun to ride!!

  • True Temper Plain Gauge tubes and aerospace 4130.
  • UTS (1) : 105-120 ksi. / YS (2) : 100 ksi
  • That's MUCH stronger than most 4130 tubesets used in Taiwan.
  • The frame is only 5.5lbs!
  • Euro BB
  • OPTIONAL Disc and V-Brake mounts (24" and 26" wheel compatible) - 25$CAD EXTRA.
  • 1.1/8" head tube.
  • Fat horizontal drop outs, single speed or derailleur compatible.
  • Standard Colors : Khaki, Burgundy
  • Custom Colors available, here's some examples : RawClear / TransGreen / TransBlue / SmokeClear / White / ChocoMilk / Baby Blue / etc.

    TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND GEOMETRY
We use the same perfectly tuned street/park/dirt geometry on ALL our frames, which are all designed to be used with dual 26", dual 24", or 24/26" wheels. The only difference with the Pinscher is that we managed to make its chainstays even shorter... We hope you enjoy it!

    2 sizes available :
    SMALL : 21.5" top tube
    LARGE : 22.5" top tube
  • Ajustable chainstays from 14.75" to 15.5" (375mm/395mm) (365mm/14.37" on the 2008)
  • 110mm / 69° head tube
  • 12.5" / 71° seat tube
  • 31.6mm seatpost / 34.9mm seatclamp
  • +15mm BB height

Strengths:    Super tight geo (best on the market) the 2008's have stays that you can slam (with 24's) to 14.25"... madness.
Super strong, feel fantastic... and are canadian made.

Weaknesses:    5.5 pounds isn't heavy... but it costs a lot to upgrade the frame to make it lighter.
Basically, I had to think really hard to find a weakness, and this is all I got.

    Bottom Line:
    Get it,love it. 'Nuff said.
If you're into street and park, you will love this bike.

Strengths:    Fantastic paint (transparent red) that lets you see the welds and manufucaturing details. Very tight rear-end geometry, which makes the bike perfect for street / dirt jump riding. The frame has "soul". It has just soooo much feel and is super fun to ride. You just want to play on this bike all day/night long.

    Weaknesses:    None noted.

    Bottom Line:
A seriously fun street bike! Short chain stays make it just sweet to ride. Kind of rides and handles like a bmx, but with 26" wheels and 100m travel - makes it just perfect. It's addicting! The first bike ever to have my fully hooked and wanting to ride all the time. Also nice to have a boutique frame that gets everyone asking about it. Great work Dobermann!!

Strengths:    Everything about the frame is perfect, from the welding to the paint job, it's hand made, I also feel it's the nicest looking, street, DJ bike out there. It rides like a dream.

    Weaknesses:    None
