Strengths: Great WELDS,SMOOTH,lite,entry level to expert.Great ride for money.Weaknesses: front fork,Replace it with Suspension.Bottom Line: Great MTB ,Never let me down over all I wouldn't trade it for half the NEW bikes in its class.Frame just keeps KICKING!6FT air, my experience NO PROB.Whoever Did the welds on these bikes KICKS butt!!
I still Would like to know what happened to the Alpinestars....since 1996!
