Strengths:    Comfort, stability.

Weaknesses:    Some components are low to mid level.

Bottom Line:
Decided to purchase two '05 Trek Navigator 200's several weeks ago- one for me and one for my wife. Both are nice, comfortable bikes for our mostly paved country road riding. The only thing I wasn't real pleased with was the rear derailleur on mine (Shimano Alivio) wasn't smooth on the downshifts. So my LBS fixed me up with a Deore LX which is far better. My wife's bike has a SRAM 5.0 which is very smooth shifting.Would highly recommend this bike for "easy riders" like us.

Strengths:    Gentle but sturdy ride. The wide tires make it a stable platform. Comfortable to ride on, like the product name implies. The bike is solid, with well-built components and tubing. The brakes are first-class.

Weaknesses:    The bike would be a better value if it had Shimano's next-level derailleur. The donward angle of the top tube, along with a high seat can make it look like a kid's bike, but only if you like the smaller (18.5") frame rather than the larger (21') frame.

Bottom Line:
I had not been on a bike for quite a while. I found the Comfort 200 to be an economical re-entry into bicycling. That, combined with an easy ride, has made biking a pleasure again.
