Strengths:    Rigid frame !

Weaknesses:    Rims and drive components

Bottom Line:
I have and ride much better bicycles then this one . This bicycle was a Xmass gift and I like nice comfortable strong frame , my is blue and black colour - components is just piece of junk so I treat myself , Because I had some good components I strip it next day, pay visit to bicycle shop , days later just before New Year I dress bicycle for my needs for tours on rough roads ........ This is a bicycle I did use on self supporting trip in Argentina , Bolivia , Peru and Chile - no problem at all except Continental Tour tires, they was not for task to cross Altiplano , One long distance call and my friend before I hit road again send me from USA set of Schwalbe Marathon Plus , I was amazed - delivery took just 3 days .......

Strengths:    Smooth ride on and off the road although it is a bit stiff.
Excellent value for the buck....for those that are on a budget. Easy shifting and nice braking. Looks good and it's smooth on regular pavement. You get what you pay for.

Weaknesses:    This bike was not made for heavy off road usage. It's heavy, and stiff. Lousy cable routing.

Bottom Line:
This bike is a good deal for it's price. It looks good, and serves it's purpose. I would not use this for serious riding...and I don't believe this bike was made for serious riders. But on the road and on moderate trails it's excellent. Some add-ons would make this bike better.

Semi-Stiff but solid frame
Very durable components
Grip Shift

Stock Weinmann 519's bend VERY easily. Problems with internal corrosion after only 6 months. Exposed cables.
Front fork

Bottom Line:
It will take whatever you can dish out to it. Good for both serious off roader on a budget, or a on roader who occasionally wants to take that shortcut through the dirt.
