Strengths:    This bike is an all around solid bike. Nothing 2 bad to say about it. i own a 99 wolverine with 7200 sr suntour front fork. then i got serious and bought a vps-1 with front 8 inch ride bomber fork and hydrolic discs and the whole deal. the wolv. has never let me down other than one flaw. rims

Weaknesses:    RIMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!must make stronger rims. i ended up buying graphite encased welded rims which altogether cost me about 500 CAD. crappy stuff

Bottom Line:
good solid bike for cross country use. not a downhiller like i wanted but ....that was the uneducated me, 2.5 years ago. i now race downhillers.( and im actually quite damn good too.

Strengths:    Very comfortable
Nice rapid fire shifters
V breaks
Good for freeriding
Great price

Weaknesses:    Only one inch travel on those crapy suntour shocks
Rims bend too easy
Rear derailer sucks
One inch head tube

Bottom Line:
This bike is a great deal, has some cheap parts but it will take almost whatever you can dish out. It's a good bike for begginer riders who don't have much money to spend on it. I would recommend buying a bike with a 1 1/8 head tube so you can upgrade the shocks. It's a real drag that I couldn't change the shocks cuz I really liked this bike. Im giving it a three because of the one inch head tube. But if you don't care about having those one inch shocks then you should buy this bike.

Strengths:
Shifts very smooth, V brakes ultra sensitive, RST shocks work pretty good. Great X- Country rider.

Weaknesses:
Some of the materials used in making this bike made it kind of heavy.

Bottom Line:
Good bike for a good price
