Strengths: Durable, fun to ride, and VERY affordable for the quality you're getting.
Weaknesses: Hardtails are more practical than rigids for someone doing a lot of intense riding. Geared very low if you're riding on the road.
Bottom Line:
This is a wonderful bike for the money. I bought this bike when I was 15 years old and left it at home when I went to college. After returning to the Boston area I started riding regularly again and it's still a pleasure. The bike has taken all of the abuse I've handed out on the area's trails and I almost regret not riding (competitively or casually) while in school.
