from Bancroft, Ontario, Canada Date Reviewed: July 18, 2008 Strengths: Wonderful balance, smoothe riding, soft on the butt, very fast, good in the woods, on roads, in dirt, in mud, deep puddles of water:) shifts easily, powerful brakes. Weaknesses: when it ages, if you go through stones, or sand, ect... the petals seem to creak. from Malvern, Victoria, Australia Date Reviewed: April 17, 2000 Strengths: Nice price ;) Comfortable and cruisy as all hell - feels like a bloody ergonomic chair! Sturdy and beefy but nice and light. A very easy ride, on-road or off. Weaknesses: Hmm... I'm not too keen on the pro-max brakes, they don't engender the sort of confidence in me that you want... I'm undecided about the grip shifters - they're great for fast changes, skipping four gears at a time or whatever, but they seem a little out of calibration already (like, one day after a complete service.) and they take a bit of getting used to... I'll get back to y'all on that one... Bottom Line: Expand full review >>Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month Bike Setup: Stock baby - which in Australia means Shimano Alivio fronts, STX rears, pro-max brakes, SRAM MRX 200-30 gripshifters and a bloody fantastic Avenir comfortplus II seat (my arse is singing with joy!)
