Strengths:    light. smooth.

Weaknesses:    crappy grip shifters. brakes and levers suck. tires were barely decent. stems a little long for me.

Bottom Line:
light and rides smooth. some of the stock parts suck.

give it some suspension and some new components and it gets the job done.

not my favorite bike but worth the money

Strengths:    cannondale products alone for one, nice paint, ride frame attention and cunstruction as a hole, fast and tight

Weaknesses:    no suspension, component solection sucks, brakes wheels, but the tire that it had i could ride every where they were unstopadle even almost bald. no disc brakes could be age though

Bottom Line:
buy it for xc riding it is still as light as bikes of 2003 but you will have to put some money around to bring it up to a proper level of kool if you know what i mean dont put a super travel fork on it stay with a 80mm or less the frame was never ment to have a none rigid fork it willo void the warrenty not what you would get one on a 5 year old bike but i havent had a problem and i have dropped easy 4+ feet and not thought twice good luck ride fast see you on the trail

Strengths:    Solid Frame. No shocks necessary because of such a flexible yet sturdy frame. Infallible Grip Shifters. Rims strong enough to take the worst abuse possible.

Weaknesses:    Bad seat stem...the seat won't stay angled correctly for more than a day or two without needing an adjustment.
Bad Brakes...these brakes are constantly riding the rim. They are over sensitive and not as effective as possible.

Bottom Line:
Great riding bike...definitly one of Cannondales Unsung Heros!
