Strengths: Built to last (have around 6000 miles on it). Great frame.Weaknesses: Not the greatest component set. Worked well to start with but I upgrade whenever I got some extra cash.Bottom Line: This is actually a 1995 bike not 2001. It is a pre Wal-mart Schwinn and this model celebrated Schwinn's 100 anniversary. I have been riding it since 1996. Great frame. I have replaced most of the components over the years and the frame is still in great shape. I ride a lot of rocky trails so this frame has taken a beating. I keep waiting for a weld to break so I can replace the frame and hang it on the shop wall. However, this frame will not break. I’m the only hardtail rider in my group and my climbing skills show it. The bike is decent in the downhill with a comfortable and nimble geometry. Schwinn used to make a great bike. Not sure if they do now. I’ll probably replace with a Santa Cruz Chameleon when the time comes.
