Strengths: seems sturdy. loads of fun at speed.
Weaknesses: some shifting delays possibly related to age/wear.
Bottom Line:
For the price I got the bike, I really am impressed. I'd like to see a bit stiffer front, but I probably weigh more than the avg mtb rider so it's no surprise that I bottom the Rock Shox Judy on some downhill fun.
Bike Setup: I replaced all of the weaknesses and put in better stuff and now the bike is great.

Strengths: Frame, bars, tires for my riding area(rocky)judy XC forks.
Weaknesses: Seat,spokes,front derailleur,grips
Bottom Line:
After 2 years I really enjoy this bike. The frame is well made and takes a beating. A very good first mountain bike to learn on and build up your skills. I'm going full suspension next, but will keep this bike to ride rail beds and just because I really like riding it! A good value for the money. To bad Schwinn stopped making the high end bikes.

Strengths: awesome frame. The rear derailleur is cool and the tires are good. holds up to alot for a cross country bike
Weaknesses: here we go - the rims and hubs, the front derailleur, the crankset, the integrated headset bearings keep cracking on me, and the cable housing really sucks.
Bottom Line:
pretty sweet bike, awesome for short track and dirt jumping, holds steady even at 6 feet. good on rtails, but even better on a run theough the city with a bit of urban assault. This bike is definately worth what i paid for it, even though i put over 400 into her
Bike Setup: Used SIDS;Used LX Splined Crank,Richy pro clipless,Jagwire prestretched cables and an avid rollamajig.Rhinolite with 14 gauge straight spokes.Rockshok suspension seatpost.etc

Strengths: Almost the whole bike
Weaknesses: Front derailer, plastic ring guard
Bottom Line:
I love this bike. I have nowhere realy close to ride except the American River Parkway. Broke the plastic ring guard my first ride with it. The bike feels great and does all i ask it to. The front derailer is in need of constant adjustment however. Not much to say except this bike Rocks! I recomend this bike for anyone not on a pro race circuit. Excellent bike for the price.
Strengths: Frame Stock Components not too bad Wide Helbent XC Great Climb
Weaknesses: Little on the heavier side 8-Speed Front Derailleur
Bottom Line:
Obviously I've spent a lot of money upgraded to what it suitable for my riding. When the bike was stock i loved it...and i was afraid of changing her. THe only reason i upgraded was that I needed something a little more lighter and durable...and i wanted 9-speed. The bike does it all...XC, a little bit DH...climbs great...it is a little heavy stock, but if you dont race, its not that big of a concern. Ive never had problems with the frame at all...only thing i do reccomend is ditch the rims...they are killer and dont like big rocks...trust me. The Fire XC Pros are sweet...i got the Trailblasters just to try them, but its a great all around XC bike. Buy One!
Similar Products Used: Trek 6000,8000,STP 300, Pro 9.9, Cannondale Super-V 500, Jekyl 800, GF Sugar 1 &3 Disc....i got a lot of friends that ride....

Strengths: Frame
Weaknesses: Brakes, Seat, Rear Hub, Pedals
Bottom Line:
Excellent bike for the money. Brakes are a bit on the weak side, expecially in the wet. A couple of weeks ago the nut in the rear hub came loose, other than that I haven't had any problems with the bike. I would recomend this bike for beginner level mountain bikers and first time buyers.
Bike Setup: Switches pedals for a pair of wellgo flats, going to get some avid arch brakes and levers soon

Strengths: Great all around bike. This bike is a great climber and very responsive in single track. I tend to ride hard and this bike is very forgiving. I often expect to be thrown to the ground only to bounce right over obstacles. Replace the pedals ASAP and remove the plastic guard from the front chain ring, and dont forget to remove all the little screws that hold it on. Perfect bike for the intermediate hardtailer.
Weaknesses: pedals and front derailer-needs constant adjustment.
Bottom Line:
If you are a serious rider in search of an affordable bike, by a Moab. The bike kicks ass.

Strengths: STRONG; I've ridden some ROUGH stuff with this and it still is in perfect shape, it looks really awsome in blue/slvr.
Weaknesses: Needs new front derr. right away cause Acera is crap, pedals suck, so I got times.
Bottom Line:
This is a really nice bike for the money. Judy XC is a nice for once you get it dialed in for your style, and I'd recomend it to anyone who wants a great first bike or an intermediate level rider
Bike Setup: All stock except LX front derr., Time ATAC pedals

Strengths: strong frame, broke my wrist before the bike
Weaknesses: front derailer tends to float alittle
Bottom Line:
this spring, i was riding, and blew a tire. i was extremely upset, until i realized that i had 1100 miles on the bike/tires. i broke a spoke about 4 days after that.
i have loved this bike. i don't ride too much offroad, but i've tried to break it, and it hasn't yet.
the handlebars are not quite swept enough for me, so my pink fingers go knumb, but new gloves, or a new set of hb's would work, i just flex them every so often to keep them feeling good.
The front derailer has been a little flighty. and the crank used to sound like it was popping, but it has gone away for the last 7 months.
I rode this bike all winter, and had no problems. it took my lack of attention, and just rolled with it.
As I mentioned, I was riding one night, and hit a fence post someone put in the bike path and i broke my wrist, and smacked my head, but the bike was fine. not even a warped rim.
it's probably not for the advanced rider, but anyone looking to start out should definately consider it.
Strengths: this bike rocks. its got a stable frame and the titec hel bent xc's rock death
Weaknesses: uh id say the front derailuer is alittle weak. after about acouple months i snaped it and had to replace it. ohya and it doesnt come with the clipless petals
Bottom Line:
the bottom line is that this bike rocks so good that i would recomend it to anyone. acouple weaknesses but easily upgraded.basicly i havent upgraded alot from the stock componets. ppl say the wheelset is craps but theyve been holding up.so id say get this bike.this is a pre nice xcountry and a pre good downhill bike. im givin this 5 flamein chillis
