Strengths:    Sweet geometry, Sweet colors, VERY agile

Weaknesses:    weight, Hard to find, rear tire clearance is a little tight.
If you have the chain 1 link to short, the tire will rub on the frame, 1 to long, and the axle nearly comes out of the dropouts.

Bottom Line:
I bought this as a frame set and built it as a Single Speed.
It is REALLY fun to ride! It can make turns that my Stumpy FSR only dreams of. I ordered it painted "Duke Blue" it is sweet! (ask for it, I don't think that it's in many catalogs yet. same color as the RS fork) I don't know about how it would be with gears, w/ the horizontal dropouts and all, but for One-Speed it is great. The price/weight compared to most other SS frames makes it a great buy!

Strengths:    its strong, fast and looks pretty damn flash

Weaknesses:    decals dont have a lacquer over them.

Bottom Line:
Awesome bike, its fast, reasonably light, very responsive, the angles are awesome, its great to jump and climbs nicely. If you're thinking of getting one also get some nice rims 'cos you're going to go way faster than you're used to. Ive fitted the disk adapter and have had no problems with it.

Santa cruz have a great export policy which makes it relatively cheap out here too.

Strengths:    Oh god, this bike is orgasmic, where can i start?
lets see; THE GEOMETRY IS SO GOOD. Very very very stiff. Unbreakable. fast, it begs to scream. Quick turning but not twitchy. More agile than the most gracefull of dancers.

Weaknesses:    decals(?do you care?)

Bottom Line:
The geometry is so good, you cannot believe it, i canot convince you, i could never do it justice, but i will try.
Fast but not twitchy
Agile but not twitchy
Stable as a rock
Will manual and wheelie easily even in the hands of a novice.
So laid back i have only endoed once on a wheeltrap riddled trail
even that doesnt quite desribe it. its just so great. the best.
This bike is so strong, its so easy to ride its so fast.

p.s.
Forget what those weight weenies say, this bike weighs 22.6 pounds with all xt parts and a judy fork, thats lighter than most midlevel xc bikes, but its has the strength of a dual-slalom/downhill machine!

Five exploding televisions for value
Ten crumbling republican parties for overall rating!

Strengths:    Smoothness of the ride. Ease of Manipulation. Even a neophyte can learn to wheelie on this bike.

Weaknesses:    Haven't found one for my uses, but if an an ounceor 2 matter to you, there are lighter bikes. The first batch of Judy SL forks were sent out without a shrink-fit plastic cover for the springs, so it make a clicking sound at about 60% of the excursion. They have since fixed that, and Rockshox sent them to my bike shop for installation.

Bottom Line:
Wow! The bike calls to me. I'm obsessed with riding it. My wife has suggested that this is midlife crisis. As a surgeon, overall setup to prevent overstress of spine and neck was a big consideration, and I've had none. I thank these pages at MTB review for helping me make my choice.
