Strengths:    I have both a Merlin built Tomac Frame and a Litespeed built Tomac Frame. The Merlin frame is made with much better quality, the Ti is brushed and the finish between tube junctions is a lot cleaner. Also, the Ti used has a slightly larger diameter. Both bikes ride very similar, very stiff laterally, but vertically compliant to absorb shock. Handling is quick but it is also very stable at speed. Climbs well and is extremely light. The Merlin was built in 1991 but then Litespeed took over in 92-93.

Weaknesses:    Rocks and flying debris can chip the clear coat over the carbon.

Bottom Line:
The best Hardtail ever built! Very high cool factor! Handles extremely well in all conditions. It is really a pricey ride.....

Weaknesses:    Weaknesses? What the hell is a weakness?

Bottom Line:
This is the PIMPEST hardtail mountain bike ever built...What dipsh*t said it's a 2001? He better find the waaay back machine because it's a 1993!
