Strengths: the fork has held up nicely, and the frame has a nice feel to it. The Truvativs own and u cant do much better than a splined b/b
Weaknesses: The rims arent great and the seat bends real easy, Mechanical disc brakes arent the best thing but they stop me so im not complaining, the bars arent wide enough(for me anyway)
Bottom Line:
This bike needs a few upgrades but after that its worth it
Similar Products Used: Kona Roast, Norco Rampage, Kona stuff
Bike Setup: HAyes 8" front disc brake and 6"in the rear. Sun singlewide rear rim, Singletrack front rim,AMoeba DH bars,Koski DH saddle,MAxxis highroller tyres f/r (the rest is stock)
Strengths: frame was good, forks dont come any better disks are nice rims have held up good
Weaknesses: rear hub comes loss off and on seat waa sup graded
Bottom Line:
a totaly awsome bike a great deal at 800 canuck dollars with minimal problems great for learnin those 3 to 4 foter drops but handels the sixes and seven nice as well. and that kid who said the bike was crap you must be fat as hell or you need to learn how to ride dumb ass
Weaknesses: Rear formula disc hub developed play. Shifters a little annoying (ghost shifting)
Bottom Line:
AWESOME BIKE Eats anything you put in front of it!!!!! Takes 5 ft drops without a flinch. The fork is plush!!!!! I Recommend it for any Developing to serious freerider.... Awesome for dirt jumping too. /02 model looks just as good keep it up Norco!!! Picked it up for a STEAL $700 canadian

Weaknesses: Seat (rails made of cheese) Gripshift rims Bars tires rear brake
Bottom Line:
A good bike for freeride with the exception of some parts. It's taken 6ft+ drops with only a small amount of trouble. Great for Dirt jumps, slalom, and general hard riding. Great price too. Buy it if you like freeride but your not Josh Bender.

Strengths: good suspension
Weaknesses: no motor to get up big hills
Bottom Line:
this bike is great for hills and hits, that allen kid must be fat if the forks dont work for him well, they are just perfect for me, im 70kgs, and i do a 30foot long, 4foot high jump on it and it dont flex at all, maybe you should just learn how to ride better!
I'm giving this bike 5/5 coz of the d1ckhead below who gave it a sh1t review coz he got a flat tire. What a joke. I have owned this bike for nearly a full year now and I dont have anything bad to say about it. Anyone who tells you this frame is flexing either has no idea or are probably a 13 year old kid trying to show off their bike knowledge to their friends.

Strengths: Looks kinda cool...
Weaknesses: long Gripshift, frame, rims, the front brake, the fork
Bottom Line:
This bike sux. I'm 13 and weigh about 115 pounds; i bent the back rim and noticed some flex in the rear. What a freeride bike!(that was sarcastic). All i was doing to do these things was the canmore-banff goat trail. also, within the first 2 hours of riding i made the front tire flat, having to walk it through the other 4 miles of the trail. I couldn't adjust the front fork worth a sh*t and the front brake was sqealing and working as good as my old bike's cantilevers. The long gripshift is goddamn annoying if anything because you always shift gears if you're bouncing around. What's more, they charged me 48$ for 4 hours on this piece of sh*t!!!!! The bottom line: If you weigh less than 100 pounds, only ride on the street, will only buy a norco and always carry a patch kit around with you, then this is your bike. I only gave it one flaming chilis because you can't go any lower!!!

Strengths: maybe the drivtrain? hubs?
Weaknesses: Iv changed these parts.. Handle bar, steam, seat, rims, seatpost, tires, drivtrain, pedals the stuff i havn't changed hubs --- but they are shot headset -- never even worried about it.. Fork --- its broken.. but still use it cranks --- mine are bent right now, i need some 3 peice
ive broken almost every part.. even my frame is bent (in the dropouts, but its still ridible, if you like a croked wheel- and no im not DUMB my frame is bent.. not my wheel, haha)
Bottom Line:
note: this is my second review... the first one is near the bottom
when i first got into biking i got this bike becasue it was cheap.. but look how much money i have had to put into mine.. i could have boughten a 250cc and still had money to spare!
the thing is i dont go that big.. ive been doing alot of jumps lately.. with a bit of casing.. some drops, but nothing over 8 or so feet. i weigh 160 pounds and i dont land very hard.
Now it looks like i need to buy a new frame, but whater i like the new parts that i have on my bike. So the final verdict is- this bike is alright as long as you arn't going to be doing drops or jumps or hard dh.
Buy this bike if you are looking for a fairly hardcore trail bike..

Strengths: Beefy frame, value!value!value!, great axiom and truvative parts...
Weaknesses: The seat is on rails of butter, just bent it back though ;-).Don't like the gripshifts for this particular bike. I just broke one of the victor flats pedal last weekend...
Bottom Line:
This bikewill wipe out anyother bike in the same price range, a absolute first choice for the 1000-1400$CAN price range. The frame will take whatever you can dishout and more. any weaknesses can be easily fixed with a few new parts...

Strengths: decent Marzocchi Z5 fork and front hayes mech brakes, strong frame, handling is comparable to rigid bikes
Weaknesses: not a fan of grip shift, dull red paint job,
Bottom Line:
Paid CAN$979 for it at B&P Cycle. Overall it is a exceptionally bike for price paid. You get an overbuilt frame, good fronts, brakes, and other components. I just brought it yesterday, and been riding it on the streets and bike paths. For now I like the handling and ride of the bike. This bike was meant for free riding, but I use it for cruising on bike paths and streets.
