Strengths: Very good bike, nice light strong frame, needs upgrading, good for freeriding
Weaknesses: shocks need upgrading, handlebars + stem need upgrading, crankset sucks, rims + wheels need upgrading
Bottom Line:
Great all around bike and excellent bike to "build on" and upgrade. Perfect for beginners and experienced riders, cause you just upgrade when you demand more! Perfect for freestyling, city riding, downhill mountain etc. Great deal! Im giving MY bike 5 Flami' Chilis cause it kicks ass.
Bike Setup: 02 DJ2, front hayes hydraulic, mavic rims, lopes bling bling dual tires, monkeylite bar, raceface stem, intense lock on grips, axiom seatpost, hussefelt DH crankset, easton cully pedals, chris king headset, tioga DH seat,XTR deruailler, LX front
Strengths: good weight,awesome for a starters bike,good componenets,upgradble
Weaknesses: cranks, pedals, fork, needs a tension or chain will come of all the time.
Bottom Line:
Cranks sett is very weak if you like drops, but it would be awesome at cross country. You basically need to upgrade if you free ride or else it suck d!ck.The fork is Ok but it would be better with dirt jumpers on them and diccs too.ow ya i have a bash guard on it and it save my ass alot of times.
Weaknesses: rims, tires, stem bars, crank really suks broje it in three days
Bottom Line:
this bike is tough as sh#t but norco needs to put some better parts on it no generic crap and the fork is way under travveled but a wicked bike for the money
Bike Setup: same as when i bought it except i added a bash guard

Strengths: Strong frame, good forks, rear derailleur
Weaknesses: weak cranks (snapped them), weak stem and bars
Bottom Line:
For a great alround bike for a cheap price this is the bike for that. A couple of things need to be changed such as the cranks and stem and bars but other wise is a good bike. The frame is very strong I did a two meter drop and the frame is still fine. Since I bought it i haven't had any problems with it, i got a new set of cranks under warrenty. If you are a free rider or cross country rider and on a bugget this is the bike for you. You shouldn't have to spend much money fixing it. I have only spent money upgrading, not fixing.

Strengths: Marzocchi Bombers, Rear changer, Frame fairly strong, Pedals, Excellent crank and good shimano V-brakes
Weaknesses: Stem and Headset are piss weak
Bottom Line:
Bike excellent for price, best fork brand on market (better then rock shox forks easily), Good strong frame, needs some minor adjusments to cranks etc. The specs on this bike are generally of a high standard and need few upgrades but be worrried about the stem and Front Hub. The perfect all rounder bike for the guy who likes a bit of everything.

Strengths: Fork, Derailleurs, Frame
Weaknesses: Seat, cranks.
Bottom Line:
This is a really good bike for the price it costs. The Marzocchi fork is really good and doesnt bottom out. The derailleurs are awesome for a bike in this price range and the frame can hold up to anything. The only downside i've seen is the seat which had to be replaced after the first heavy duty ride after it broke off the rails. I've also been told that the cranks are not that good and will probably need to be replaced soon. It's a bike for someone who wants to get serious about x-country riding. For the money, it's the best bike available.

Strengths: Fork, pedals, price.
Weaknesses: Rims are ok, but might not be able to stand lots of abuse. One of the cranks got broken quickly.
Bottom Line:
This bike is great for any newcomer to mtb. The components are quite good for the price. The 1999 z.2 superfly's are ok (80mm), but if your into more of the drops and urban riding, if you have the cash, then go with a higher model.
