Strengths: Lightweight yet strong frame....has lasted me 8 years now.
Frame has not broken in a number of crashes even though it is carbon fiber and 8 years old.Weaknesses: AMP Fork belongs in the Smithsonian.
Was disappointed with intial XT part set-up, expected more for price paid. Negotiated up to XTR!Bottom Line: Great carbon fiber mountain bike frame for the time. Now have upgraded all the parts and still performs great.
According to guys at the local shop bike is still worthy of upgrades today.
