a Cross Country Rider

Strengths: Excellent frame, lightweight and strong. Uk version comes with Deore\LX throughout, mavic wheels, reasonbly decent WTB and marin parts (seatpost, bar and stem)Weaknesses: only 2 things I can fault, the forks aren't the best, manitou sxe's, and the pedals are cheap shimano'sBottom Line: Great bike for cross country, upgrade the forks and ditch the pedals (personal choice) and you've got a light, responsive and very strong race bike for not a bad price.
The bike is quite lightweight to start with and can be made even lighter quite easily, I've put on some nice Marzocchi forks, egg beaters and changed the grips.
For the money, excellent.
