Strengths: Great Climber, looks good, and seems like a good value for the strong, forgiving ride.Weaknesses: Could use better fork in the retail price range, Ovation components look worn almost immediately.Bottom Line: I have owned this bike for about 1.5 monthes and ride it about three times a week and would certainly recommend this bike to anyone looking for a quality and reasonably priced steel bike. Some independant frame makers ask about as much for the individial frame as my entire bike cost(which was on sale). This is a bike anybody can enjoy, from the beginner(me) to a pretty advanced XC rider. The frame can also be pretty intersting to look at with the irregular diamond shaped downtube(paint is eye-catching!) The only up-grades I insisted on was the change to the Maxxis(Hard-Drive) rear tire-don't like the snake-belly, and the TIME pedals(which I love).
