Strengths:    Decent bike for the money, quality components, top of the line aluminum frame, and dig that paint job!

Weaknesses:    Rear wheel developed a squeek after only a month, continues to plague me to this day. Plastic on the saddle broke and is VERY sharp.

Bottom Line:
Million dollar looks for much lower price. Race-quality bike with great frame warranty. Bike is very composed on the trail, especially the decents, though it would be nice if the frame geometry was a little more compact, it would climb like a demon then.

Strengths:    Good value for product mix

Weaknesses:    Chain has trouble with volcanic ash. Front chain rings noisy with mimimal grime.

Bottom Line:
Good bike. Doesn't brake in pretty hard conditions. Good climber. No bad habits but must be on guard at all times.
Will probably switch to disc brakes in near future. I'm a big guy 150 kg and this bike is hard on brake pads in the volcanic ash I ride in. Bike has never left me stranded.

Strengths:    Nice and light, climbs well, Noleen shocks (when set correctly - riders weight in kgs plus 10kg) function really well). Good bike.

Weaknesses:    Changing on front and rear sprocket leaves a lot to be desired - had to get the front sprocked that was supplied swapped out for a shimano. Still had some problems.Front tyre tends to lift on hills - will need to use bar ends to bring the riders weith forward.

Bottom Line:
Good bike - nice ride. Bit 'skittery' (may just be getting used to it). Some problems with front and rear changing that need to be sorted.

Really suited to a rider who wants more than a weekend ride and is riding in hilly terrain. Cost in NZ$ is $3k - unsure of US cost. Compared this to the Fisher Parragon and the K2 did feel and ride lighter. The Parragon did have the better changing however which is the bikes only drawback.

For the fashion concious it comes in nice Team USA colours.
