Strengths: The FRAME is amazing! I'm 6'1 and 200 pounds and I've taken 6-8 foot drops and the thing never even SQUEEKED!!!!
There is nothing better than a full XT setup - keep that pricey XTR *JUNK* for the wannabees. The new Deore mechanical discs work as good as Avid and Hayes - for about half the price...setup is simple and quick.
Weaknesses: none if you BUILD your own!!!
I bought every single piece and put it together EXACTLY the way I wanted (well, I'd like a WTB wheelset...*grin*) and it just ROCKS!!!! BIG hits no prob, climbs like a cat on acid, the 100mm fork just sucks up bumps, feet never come off the big pedals, and it weighs less than 24 pounds!!!! This is a GREAT frame to build - if I could give it 10 peppers it wouldn't be enough - get one and try it yourself!!!!

Strengths: Jumping bike. Smaller BMX type frame; there are probably better bikes for climbing out there but hey we all need the exersize...the downhill is just sick...I've been riding since I could walk and I love how this bike feels in the air.
Weaknesses: The chain broke the first day I had it, the bottom bracket loosened up and the headset loosened up as well...I think those are just growing pains though...could happen with any new bike you get. My front disk (magura louise) squeaks a bit but I think it will chill with time.
It's all about air...if you want a mountain bike that jumps well this is a good choice...I went to a mountain bike convention here in La and rode quite a few bikes and nothing felt right...The moment I got on this bike I knew it felt right...it's set up so your front end is higher and consequently ready for a hard landing...a lot like riding a cr125 dirt bike...coolio The only bad things I've encountered are the problems I spoke of earlier and the LX components the bike came with (front derailer and shifters) C'mon guys that's like sticking it halfway in. I don't want XTR (too much adjusting) but I wish they'd have put XT on the bike...Details details details

Strengths: Great overall design, The K2 shocks that came with the bike worked great. I dont know who the previous reviewer went through to get his bike, mine was in great shape. Once assemble it is a well balanced by and the components have only needed slight tuning over time. Our group does mostly free riding and even though I would prefer the Z1's on it. The K2 Forks stood up extremely well over 8 foot drop off's. Very slight maintenace beyond regular check ups are required for this bike. Nothing broke.
Weaknesses: Never been fond of the colors they have used on there bikes lately.
A great Bike, I reccomend it to everyone who is looking for a high quality, well groupo'd ride!

Strengths: Geax Blade 2.25 tires, Noleen Mega 100 fork (This is an awsome fork for xc, but I would never use it for freeriding, when I assembled the bike I put a Z1 cr on it.) The places to zip tie hydraulic lines to frame are a good idea. TruVativ cranks aren't horrible. The graphics are sickers so you can convert your "Brass Monkey" to an "Ass Monkey".
Weaknesses: When the bike arrived at my shop ready to be assembled the frame was scratched all over the downtube, no big deal but I wanted to put the first scratches on it. The headset was trashed the bearings were bent and haging out of the race. After riding the bike for two months, these are the problems I've expierenced, broken levers (it has the 1999 plasitc magura levers, call magura they will replace them with alloy.) I broke the stem. The seat post clamp broke, The Easton seat post sucks ass, it squeeks and creaks so loud. the custom Titec Bserker Saddle is as ugly as it looks. The wheelset is long gone, but I didn't expect much from them anyhow. Also if you own this bike, make sure your shims for your caliper/frame interface is set up properly, mine came from the factory not set up properly, refer to your Magura manual.
It's a good thing K2 only made a few of these, It's good thing I didn't expect much from it. What was K2 thinking when they put light weight xc parts on a freeride bike? The frame is worth while for a hardtail, but just get a cheap Zed, it's the same thing in the long run.

Bike Setup: Just about everthing on this bike has failed, all that is left is the frame and rear derailuer. If you want the frame contact me, you can have it.

Strengths: A strong overall design and great components.
Weaknesses: None so far
I bought it on Saturday, so I've only had it for a couple days. So far so good. The bike will make a sweet Dual Slalom ride. I don't know about CC though. It's a pretty small frame, but the seatpost goes up a long ways. I really like the component selection and the Magura disks are very nice. Haven't used the Shimano's, but I really like the setup of the Maguras.

Strengths: Good ride when I demo'ed
Weaknesses: Where are the xt disks?
I Do not own this bike, But I really want to... Has anyone riddin it, please review it!!!!!!!. I wish it had the xt disks on it. IS the bianchi SuperBee beter? I need a bike to hold up to hard core xc. I give it 5 flaming for the ride, almost perfect for the purpose. needs suspension seatpost, and clipless dh pedals .... I gave it 4 flaming Cannondales to the lack of the new xt disks. PLEASE SOMEBODY REVIEW THIS BIKE I NEED TO KNOW IF ITS A GOOD CHOICE.
