Strengths:    very light, good for getting where you want to go. nice weight and size.

Weaknesses:    fork has far too little travel, rear tire tends to come down hard off of anything. tires come out of true far too often.

Bottom Line:
a nice bike if you are into cross country. not very good for anything else though.

Strengths:    Nice looks. Pretty light and seems to be a tough frame. Bike takes a beating but...

Weaknesses:    ...those Weinmann 519 wheels; They just don't stay straight, ever. Also, the RST shock, while reliable, doesn't have as much travel as I'd like. The Acera gears are a bit wussy and clunky.

Bottom Line:
It's a decent entry level bike. Looks good enough to steal. Had seen some pretty demanding terrain which it handled like a pro. Lasted me a year before overwhelming urge to upgrade. Just got sick of flimsy wheels and Acera gears.

Strengths:    Durable, takes a beating

Weaknesses:    Components

Bottom Line:
I just got into mountain biking and was looking for a good entry level bike. Thats what I got. I havent had any problems with this bike yet and I have already had some pretty bad crashs. The only thing that could be better is if the components were a little bit higher quality. If you want to get intot the world of riding, I would suggest this bike.
