Strengths: Very good frame with a average Rock Shox Jett forkWeaknesses: The orriginal group on this bike should be at least DEORE the group fitted on this bike is a much to low group for this frame .Bottom Line: I upgraded almost everything exept the fork and the rims because the rims are made of extreme quality i don't know if these are the original ones but they are very strong. The fork is OK but is to expensive to replace otherwise i would have done it because this frame is of superrior quality to my idea.
the original bottom bracket is of poor quality so my advise is to replace it A.S.A.P. as well as the original cranck set and chain.

Strengths: strong frame, big gussetsWeaknesses: bike spec could be higher, rims are very easily trashedBottom Line: massive strong frame, rims didn't last very long and the cassete and chain started to slip very soon. This bike is a beauty to start off with, even though i have spent as much as the bike cost on it!

Strengths: Mostly good components, good shocks,Weaknesses: Cranks suck, and crappy Shimano shiftersBottom Line: Good Bang for the money, wish i could get some good friction shifters that comply with the rest. Good bike for riding trails with not to many big drops. Hardcore Riders, this isn't the bike for you. Anybody who wants a good bike to start riding with!

Strengths: Good paint job.
7005 aluminium frame.
replaceable dropout.
good rims and tyres.
Nice 'n' light.Weaknesses: serated shin munching pedals.
Acera X front mech and cranks are poor.Bottom Line: This is a great bike for thos who want something a bit more serious. The bike will take quite a bit of abuse and even thoug some of the componentry is pretty poor this can be easily upgraded and the frame is light and strong, a good base for upgrades.

Jett c has the most adjustability for forks in this range

Bottom Line: This was my first real mountain bike. It has held up rather well after only a few months of medium abuse. Not a machine to be ridden to hard. The ZAC 19 rims are very good, and come stock on bikes even in the $1000(CAN) range. This bike is rigid, stiff and light. Around 26 lbs, thats pretty light for this cheap. I paid about $600 can. for mine. You can't go wrong with that. I shopped around forever, and this had everything i wanted, except clipless. the acera cranks are very flexy, and the Jett C fork doesn't feel real sturdy under pressure, and it doesn't stay compressed while railing turns. overall its a great bike, you could race it after you make some key upfrades: fork pedals f and r der. Its a deal for those looking for a quality mountain bike. This is the bike they talk about in all the magazines that qualifies as "now your getting into real mountain bikes" catagory.

Strengths:
Butted 6061 frame with triple triangle design. Replaceable aluminum dropout.
Team colours paint job.
$650 Cdn. price.Weaknesses:
Rock Shox Jett C fork has minimal (45mm) travel.
Acera cranks.Bottom Line: The bike has good lateral stiffness but is not so hard on the rear because of triple triangle design. Light frame, lots of sizes, replaceable derailleur hanger is good. Jett C should be upgraded at the shop. Good frame for trials.
