Strengths: Cheap, comfortable
Weaknesses: Wheels, spindles, heavy
Bottom Line:
This bike is total rubbish. I had one for four months then i got my money back due to my returning the bike for repairs to the shop constantly. After coming back from trail riding it would take me an hour just to fix the bike back up to a rideable state. This bike is only suitable for road use or very light trail work or for a garden decoration.
If you are a serious rider, you shouldn't even be looking at GTs. The agressor is heavy, and I wouldn't trust it on too many trails. It is a good bike however for riding around town, but not quite durable enough for serious trail riding.
Strengths: Not a whole lot, decent frame...Cheap as hell, decent beginner bike.
Weaknesses: EVERYTHING breaks, squeaks, or bends. Within 1 year of part-time use I have broken the crappy shifters, the headset, the handlebars and the fork. Factory components are sh*t, sh*t, and more sh*t.
Bottom Line:
If you want a cheap and decent hardtail frame and you want to spend 1,000+ bucks upgrading it, go for it. Otherwise just fork out the dough and buy a decent bike to begin with.

Strengths: Nothen!
Weaknesses: Everything!
Bottom Line:
This bike bites! I've had it for 2 years and i broke the freakin frame. Bottom line is that if u want the worst bike, by a gt. I bought a new bike, the 2002 Giant Ranier and it is 1000000 times better! GT bites, and im glad that they went bankrupt.
This bike has been going on strong for 2 years now. My friends have more expensive bikes, but somehow, where their's have failed, mine keeps going. I use my bike for a bit of everything. I commute to work, go on cross country cycle holidays and hit the downhills on weekends. With almost 4000 kms on my computer, all I've had to replace is one set of brake pads and and a bald tyre. I have had no componentry upgrades, and was considering buying a new bike. Having read all the amazing reviews here, I think I might just get an upgrade. This bike has been very good to me and I'm going to hold on to it for a few more years!

Strengths: It has not ever procen down
Weaknesses: reusty v brakes and general rust not good
Bottom Line:
I have had this bike for a whill it has not drasticaly let me down but i use it to go to school every day and for that it looks the part. The newer styles of aggressor look rubbish and i personally don't like them so they have put me off getting a nother one. Hever should any one get the new aggressor it puts down the GT Team.

Strengths: It is a very very durable bike. Very comfortable even though it is a hard tail.
Weaknesses: none yet
Bottom Line:
The bike is perfect in every way so far that I have noticed. I enjoy it when I ride it. If it is in the Adirondack mountains or on the streets of central NY. The bikes weight is not an issue because it is very light. The bike can handle the big jumps and the small once. The bike is for beginners and professionals

Strengths: Light, stiff frame. Good to add on and up-grade components.
Weaknesses: Components not the best.
Bottom Line:
Excellent bike. Very few problems at all. The bike has taken a bit of a pounding over the year I've owned it and it's handled it well. The components are not the best, and I'm planning to up-grade brakes and gears soon. Great first buy.
Weaknesses: The saddle, grips, and pedals had to go.
Bottom Line:
Had to buy a new ride when some dingbat rear-ended me and cratered my Saddleback's rims (although I easily replaced them after she paid me off). The Aggressor was on sale, so I snatched it up. Glad I did.. This thing climbs like a mountain goat... the Velociraptors really bite and keep traction. The crappy narrow saddle was replaced with the one off my Saddleback, and the grips replaced with Oury grips. It took a while to get used to the switch from toeclips to clipless, but I can bunnyhop my fat ass about a foot up. Now I have a steel frame and an aluminum frame, same set-up, and love them both. Next, the Rukus...
Bike Setup: Oury grips, the Saddleback's saddle, Shimano M545 pedals

Strengths: I LIKE THE MOUNTAIN BIKING. THE BIKE IS RED AND FULL OF AGGRESSION LIKE MYSELF. I WANT TO RUNG OVER SPARROWS AND IT IS GOOD FOR THAT WITH POINTY TIRES. IT IS ALSO PRETTY LIKE MYSELF.
Weaknesses: SOMETIMES WHEN SPARROWS HEAD COMES OFF, SPARROW BLEEDS ON TIRES AND IS HARD TO CLEAN.
Bottom Line:
SEEKING SWM. I LIKE THE MOUNTAIN BIKING AND LONG WALKS ON THE BEACH. I AM ANGRY, BUT NOT WITHOUT THE WOMANLY CHARMS OF A 50+ YEAR OLD WOMAN. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND DON'T MIND SWEATY WOMEN, GIVE ME A CALL. INTO DOMINATION, WEAK OF HEART NEED NOT APPLY.
Strengths: this is a great frame not very heavy looks great
Weaknesses: the stock forked sucked the crank sucked the rims sucked but that all changed
Bottom Line:
it was a really nice bike when i bought it but now it just kicks ass i beat people on bike that costed 1500 $$ but now my bike is worth more then 1700 $$$ with all the up grades i put on it but soon i will be buyinh a Zaskar frame and just moving all my componets to the new frame
Bike Setup: i changed almost everything now i have a judy 100 fork XT crank, sun mammoth rims font and rear with XT hubs getting XT brakes black spire rock ring, tomac DH bars DH stem New seat and i will be getting XT front and rear derailers

This bike is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I first bought this bike just thinking I'll never get into biking, well once you get in, you can't get out!! I completely overhauled my bike. Everything on my bike works, and very, very dependable!!!! Good bike for Beginner to a low intermidiate. But like most bikers, I upgraded my bike instead of just buying a new one.
