Strengths:    the frame is very light and the forks are good value though you could easily upgrade to something more suited to the style of riding you prefer.

Weaknesses:    the front mech has its faults. but i changed it to shimano and now its running well. the bottom bracket didnt last very long either

Bottom Line:
Basically this bike is good for a starting point into serious riding. You can do so much on this machine its wierd. You can do some limited downhill and the same with trials but you can easily burn the single track with it. the tyres do buckle easily when you put them under pressure but it can all depend on the weight. my bike is the 2000 model but there are only marginal differences. ive upgraded most of the stuff on this bike but you dont have to i just like my own set up. the bottom line is you could buy this bike and spend money to get it up to scratch or you could buy a dearer bike but the frame is in its favour compared to similar bikes.

Strengths:    Super-light frame
Aheadset with 19.5"
Rear shimano mech good for price
Suntour 63mm Forks excellent for the price.
Tektro V-brakes offer great stopping power.
Very good value.

Weaknesses:    Rims look naf and buckle easily
Suntour Front mech is unreliable
Paint job is a bit too garish for my liking
Pedals are too slippery when wet (I changed these)

Bottom Line:
This is a very good bike for the money, and I've found no real faults. But, if you really want to thrash your bike go for something a bit more expensive. In general the bike handles great, and is certainly worth the money.

Strengths:    frames is pretty light, good for trials even though if u have a big frame

Weaknesses:    cheap componentry(who cares)buy new stuff!!!!

Bottom Line:
Stick a pair of good rigids, thicker tyres and a bashring on it replace some of the sh*t components and u've got ur self a great beginner stock bike.Pleople complain about the rims of this bike but I used buckle a bit regularly but as soon I improved my technique and learnt where to put my weight they have been fine I side hop of 5ft drops regularly and they have been fine so all u people complaining are just sh+t bikers!!!
I have 19.5 inche bike but still and am 5'7" and growing but still ride comp trials and beat people on special trials is all about ur skill not ur bike ok it is easier on a trials specific bike but just imagine what u can do on a proper trials bike if ur good on a big non trials specific bike!!!
