Strengths: GOOD BIKE FOR UNDER 600. DURABLE, GOOD CORNERING AND SHIFTING.Weaknesses: FRONT SHOCK!!!! VERY SOFT AND BOTTOMS OUT ON SMALL BUMPS.
DUMP THE RST SHOCK ASAP!!!!!!!!!Bottom Line: GREAT BIKE FOR UNDER 600 BUT BEFORE YOU GET DISAPPOINTED ORDER A MANITOU SHOCK WHEN YOU GET THE BIKE. DON'T EVEN RIDE IT WITH THE RST SHOCK. IF YOU CHANGE THE SHOCK YOU WILL BE TOTALLY HAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE.THIS IS A BIKE THAT THE AVERAGE RIDER CAN AFFORD AND WILL BE SATISFIED WITH IF/WHEN YOU MOVE TO MORE AGGRESIVE RIDING.

Strengths: Price, Brakes, Shifter's performance, Tires, LooksWeaknesses: Weight, shocks but for the money not bad.Bottom Line: Great entry level bike for the $$$ This bike has all of the features you want in a bike. The brakes are very strong! Better than most of the expensive bikes I have ridden. I hate to say it but the Sram 5.0 grip shifters perform just as well as the fancy shimano ones I have used. I love the tires..Great traction and they seem to last a long time..even on the street. The bike is a bit heavy compared to the more expensive brands but hey its a great deal. Its a nice play bike for the trails and the softish front shocks make it comfortable on the street. With some upgrades, this could be a nifty trail bike. Upgrade to lighter wheels, shock, head stem, bars and seat post.
I give it 5 hot ones because its a lot of bike for the money :c)

Strengths: Very high performance for under 600. Stiff frame, great components, very attractive and fast.Weaknesses: The front fork isn't as good as the judy, but better than the jett.Bottom Line:
The best bike for $419. it beat the hardrock and 4500 and definitly looks better. The other bikes werent as stiff and all had sucky Jett suspension. this bike performs on hard core trails unlike the others that go soft tail.(no offence to the guys who own 4500 and specalized HrdRck and m550 and outpost

Strengths: This bike has a short top tube that makes it cut corners and balance at low speeds very well. The SRAM shifters in the 5.0 class have been trouble free, with the adjustments on the shifters it is a breeze to tune. Good stiff low end price rims that have held up to some medium drops very well. Solid seat post construction; haven't had to tighten at all since new. Nice and light to throw around on the trail.
Weaknesses: The front shock!!! Replace this as soon as possible. The one on my bike got soft and sloppy real fast; which made me loose some confidence in the bike. The crank will need some touch-up with a de-burring tool after some hours of hard riding. I started to get some chainsuck after the teeth on the small chainring got slightly hooked.Bottom Line: This is a good buy for someone who wants a solid ride and knows that for under a grand you aren't going to get front suspension that is plush. BUY IT AND CHANGE THE SHOCK!!!! For under $600 you'll have a tight handling trouble free ride.
