Strengths: Same 7005 Aluminum frame as the Topangas and the Response D-back bikes, so this is a great starter bike.Weaknesses: The fork bottoms easily under a 220lb person.Bottom Line: The perfect mountian bike for the beginner on a budget. This frame is a serious mountain bike frame that can be upgraded as the wallet permits. The entry level components seem pretty good for those just starting out. I rode the Sram 3.0 drivetrain around for a little while before throwing the 9.0SL's on, and they worked real well.

Bike Setup: Stock seat and seatpost and handlebar, everthing else is upgraded. I run a Sram 9.0SL drivetrain and a SID.
