Strengths: The strongest, lightest, quickest thing I have ever used. You can do just about everything to it and it will still run as if it were just riden off the showroom. Very Comfortable on EVERY terrain. The adjustable shocks work incredible.Weaknesses: Not many at all.Bottom Line: The best bike I have ever used. Incredible Value. I already have around 1500 miles on it after less than a year. I give this bike quite the punishment and it still looks and rides like new.

Strengths: It has a strong frame.Diamondback chose a nice equipment package.It is a very liteweight bike.Weaknesses: it doesnt have machine sidewall rims.I hate the Low grade forks.I want a better gear selection.I only have 24 gears, I want 27 gears.Bottom Line: It is an overall good bike other than some minor flaws.

Strengths: alloy frame means no rust. and the components are great,

Strengths: Price!!! I got this bike on sale. It is made by Derby Cycles (Raleigh, Univega). Good all around cruiser, or entry level trail bike.Weaknesses: It had some pretty weak components...Alevio, Acera, and RST...but it was $279 bucks. That for me is worth the frame alone. With a little investment in a good fork (already have a complete Deore grupo to put on it from other bike when I upgraded to XT), I'll have a really nice little second arrow for the quiver.Bottom Line: I bought this bike for my girlfriend, because she was getting tired of watching me ride off with my buddies, while she sat at home. I must say, this has been a great investment. Not only do we get to spend some quality time together, but the bike is perfect for the type of riding that she enjoys. I don't take her on any technical trails, or wicked downhills...we just cruise, enjoy the scenery, and talk. If you want a bike to bash the snot out of...stay away from this one...especially if you leave it stock. The frame is great to build on, but you can't expect a $300 bike to withstand the same abuse as a pro level XC bike. That is why I feel the previous review is a little unfair. That was obviously written by someone who is more demanding on the bike, than the hardware on it can deliver...no offense.
If you want to call this a great girlfriend/wife bike...then it is perfect. When I get done with it however...it will be a sweet little trail bike. Don't be afraid to look seriously at this bike. It is definately better than anything you will get at Wal-Mart, or Toys-R-Us, it just won't cost you much more. And unlike those bikes, the possibilities are limitless with some upgrade money. I.E. you could have a very nice bike, with minimal initial investment.

Similar Products Used: Raleigh M-80...Derby makes great bikes for the money...PERIOD! This same bike in a Schwinn (soon to be a Pacific Cycle or Huffy company...E-gads!), or TREK would cost you $500 or more.
Bike Setup: Stock...Lots of no name stuff (brakes, headset, bars, stem, ect.), Alevio shifters, Acera drivetrain, VERY soft RST fork.

Strengths: good frame, light weight, nice rideWeaknesses: The front and rear derailer!!!! It sucks. Forget shifting up hill or shifting with putting any preasure on the pedals. Shox need more travel also.Bottom Line: Its a cool bike but I dont think it will hold up to the abuse that comes with riding on trails. The Shimano Acera derailer is what pisses me off the most. I think i will get a Topanga instead! email me for questions or comments.
