Strengths: very light, price is right, as buddy said before... very nicely built frame (nice machined dropouts and Canadian!!) rock solid ride. very resposive. compared to other bikes i've ridden it climbs very well.Weaknesses: the titec x-wing seat post is crap. absolute crap. broke after only a few rides. actually it's just the post clamp that sucks. needs to be steel cause it's loaded in a funny way when riding.Bottom Line: This bike was one of the best deals I've ever seen. If you want a down and dirty racing machine this bike is for you. If you're into casual X-country riding you might want to go with something a little more subtle.

Strengths: Aluminum frame tracks amazing. Feels very strong and has heavy duty welds. Feels at home on all sections of trail (up's, downs, and all in-betweens)!!!Weaknesses: NONE yetBottom Line: just bought bike and put it through over 80 km of hard xc riding in 4 days on weekend. Best bike i've ever had the pleasure to ride. Upgrading from the sid xc to the bomber appears to have been a good choice. The bike sucked up anything i through at it. If your a serious rider who wants the best bike for his/her money, then i think this be it!

Strengths: canadian handcrafted, good components, light and agileWeaknesses: crap titec seatpost broke quicklyBottom Line: really nice bike, climbs well and descends like an aluminum hard tail rough. made in chicoutimi quebec, sweet. can reach turbo speeds on twisty single track cause light and handels well. very solid rims and frame. bike with some full suspension dudes, I spend about half the energy on climbs. it you what a cadillac don't buy this. if you what to feel the trail and go mach 5 up, down, straight buy this. can be a little crazy on bumpy downhill, sweetness. love this hog.

Strengths: Handmade frame, so based on that aspect alone it's a high quality piece of work. The welds appear adn feel strong. The ride is extremely aggressive and turning a corner is a cinch. Its head angle accomodates both climbing and medium downhill. Its frame is only 3.4 pounds, which is always good.Weaknesses: Its made of aluminium and like all bikes made of this material its fairly harsh. But thats it.Bottom Line: I am very pleased with the frame, mind you I am hard to please. This hardtail can do basically everything, if you put discs and longer travel fork it would be a descent freeride bike.
Duration Product Used: 3 months
Price Paid:
$1800.00
Purchased At: Bicycle World
Similar Products Used: Specialized stumpjumper hardtail.
Bike Setup: Manitou Mars fork, all xt components, ct2 handlebar, race face stem, cane creek headset. (Bought frame and built up the bike piece by peice).
