Strength:

Decent quality branded components for the price. Includes disc brakes, Tioga tyres/pedals/seat and Shimano Deore all round. Great bike for beginners / weekend warriors. Also, British-built !!

Weakness:

Rockshox Jett forks could do with being upgraded.

A great, mid-priced [£499] front suspension bike ideal for the mud due to it's Disc brakes and Tioga DH 2.1 tyres. An ideal platform from which to start upgrading. This isn't going to suit the more experienced rider, but it will do for me until I can afford a Marin full-susser !!
