Strengths: The bike is solid yet light. I have really been abusing the bike by taking it on trails it was not designed for, however except for the rims I keep breaking, the bike is doing great.Weaknesses: No mounts for disk brakes.Bottom Line: If you are looking for an inexpensive hardtail that you do not have to worry about breaking, I have had NO complaints with it. I am looking for a new bike now, only because I need full suspension. Anything over 4 feet on the hardtail either hurts me or the rims. I will be keeping this bike though because it is great for technical riding being so light and manuverable.
For value it has been awesome. I have owned it for 5 years with three of those being serious north shore riding. (although I avoid all drops over 5 feet)
Favorite Trail: Boogyman
Duration Product Used: More than 3 years
Price Paid:
$1000.00
Purchased At: Bike Zone in Surrey
Bike Setup: I built my own disc brake mount... its worked so far. (2 seasons). Everything else is stock except the rims and handlebars were upgraded when they broke.
