from Mattituck, NY - USA Date Reviewed: October 28, 2002 Strengths: Unbelievably quick bike. CAAD 5 Frame. ELO Lefty. Bike Weight. Handling & Climbing ability... Need i say more? Weaknesses: Some of the components are simply garbage. I've replaced the Disk brakes to Avid mech., the cranks to Race Face Next LP, and the Handle bar & Seat Post, Need to run a Computer wire to the rear of the bike. Ouch, it is a bit too stiff & with the low BB, you are gauranteed to hit stumps riding on the East Coast... from Altoona, PA, USA Date Reviewed: October 8, 2001 Strengths: Very strong frame, and very lite. CAAD5 Frame, Titanium Spindle, Lefty, ELO, 100mm shock travel, AVID Mechanical Disc Brakes. Weaknesses: Stock Coda Disc brakes. I swapped out the tires and tubes after puncturing the rear tire a few times. They are more for racing, so they are lite weight. They either squeak or don't work well or don't work at all. Do yourself a favor if you are going to get a cannondale and get one with Magura or even better Hayes.
